Then I remembered the Swedish exchange girls I know, and was going to vote for Swedish/Other.
Then I saw that there's no "other" option, so I ended up voting Australia anyway.

Huh, first for Irish... as far as speaking English is concerned, nothing beats an Eire accent.

You should probably be more specific than just "American". People in the deep south have a very difference accent from those in Minnesota.

But I've always liked an Australian accent. It's the one place I'd most like to visit. Now if only I had the means.

My favorite is the Irish/Scottish (they sound a lot alike so they're tied for first) followed the French and Russian accent (tied for second) and British and Jamaican in third. And I will state that I prefer a softer, lighter accent than a thick, heavy accent.

I like certain British accents. Not sure what it is, but I just find it adorable. Also New Zealand and South African accents make me shiver with happiness.

EDIT - Canadian too. I wish I knew a Canadian in real life.
