Not so sure about my favourite accent for men, though.

Maybe British, but I honestly can't tell since that's what I am.

This poll is very silly. To those who said British: speak to a cockney then a farmer then somebody from Birmingham and still see if you say British. The same applies to other countries.

British because you have Scottish, Welsh, Irish and the many kinds of English e.g Cockney.

All of that in such a small space.
Irish isn't British. As a Northern Irish person, I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to this. Scottish people aren't happy with being called "British" either, but they don't have as much of an argument against it as Northern Irish people do or especially Republic of Ireland citizens who are an entirely different country and nothing to do with Britain or being "British".

Just saying.

That being said, OP, there are so many different British accents and they're all excellent even if they don't hold a candle to our good wee "Norn Iron" accent :)

A *posh* british accent on a woman is very hot (I don't where in the UK it's from but I'm sure you know the accent I mean.)

Well...I have an English accent, but I quite like the Australian. Or Irish. If a girl has a bit of an Irish accent...ahhhhh.

British, specifically Cockney. I'm actually friends with a guy who speaks with that accent. His voice is loved by all.

It's a toss-up between Irish and Scots for me, but I think I mainly like the Northern Irish accent, whereas I think I like all Scottish variations. So I voted Scottish.

You should probably be more specific than just "American". People in the deep south have a very difference accent from those in Minnesota
There's a similar amount of difference across Britain, well, even just across England, and we're far smaller than the US.
I'm from London and have a hard time understanding people from Birmingham, 100 miles away...
Actually, I have a hard time understanding some London teenagers, but that's for different reasons, I think. >_>

I lived in England when I was little and learning English and still have a little accent when I speak, so I'm used to hearing it. My friend's dad is Scottish, so I hear that a lot...
I went with Irish, because it sounds charming and I don't hear it as often.

Though I do really love the Georgian accent (south American ish) when it's not too pronounced. God, that accent is sexy.

I just realized that you misspelled French.

I don't know whats worse, that misspelling or that there is a French option but no German option.
