The hammer in Red Faction: Guerilla. It was just in the demo i played, but I used it to crush a concrete wall and the enemy hiding behind it. Any melee weapon that can tear down a building in under a minute gets my seal of approval.

I can't help but say the wrench as my favorite from the given choices just because whenever I bludgeon someone over the head with a wrench, I can't help but laugh as I imagine them replying with:

"What the f-... did you just hit me with a WRENCH?! What the hell is wrong with you? There is a bat RIGHT THERE. At least have the good decency to hit me with a weapon that makes sense?!"

The wrench, because as Kofun put it, it doesn't make sense. I mean it's a wrench, who the hell hits anyone with a wrench. Also because of the line, "If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball." Everyone I've ever swung at with a wrench hasn't been able to dodge it. Thus, they can't dodge a ball. *hesitates* And now just got completely off track and forgot what I was going to say but yeah, wrenches FTW!

I'm not too sure if I'd classify the Grav-Hammer as a melee weapon, it's a little more like a super weapon in my opinion.
