You see, the prevalence of MLP threads on the Escapist, the amount of MLP avatars and the fact that I respect members of the Escapist community much more then the average internet commentater implies to me that My Little Pony might actually be worth watching but then I see names like Rainbowdash and Pinkie Pie and....I....don't....think.....I....can....do.....it!!!

I normally wouldn't care about this, its just be another one of those cutesy things my mind fazes over while searching the internet but: fellow gamers and Escapist members liking ponies!?! Could ponies.....be good!?!

I saw the whole episode. I went out of my way to watch that, and two other episodes. My eyes are burning, and I want that hour of my life back. The colours are nice, and the characters are obviously fleshed out, but that show sucked. I don't get it.

I checked the next two to give them a chance. I thought I was gonna hit some kind of breakthrough. I did not. But at least I gave this show a try, right? Same can't be said about others. I gave it a try and it did not work for me.

You don't even have to watch the show to not like it (glad you did). Just don't insult me or anyone else for liking it, and we'll be cool.

You know what? You're right. I apologize for that. I was just noting how I did not like it in an inappropriate way. Honestly, I can see why other people like but it's just not for me.

All she has to do is kill off the other five and she'll win. I like her a lot more now than at the beginning but she can't compare to Crazie Pinkie and Flutterage.

1.) It's ad'awwwworable (fun art style)
2.) It's funny
3.) It's hilarious at times
4.) It's well written
5.) The characters have flaws and don't gush over boys and being pretty the entire show like you'd expect from a show sponsored by Hasbro to sell pony toys to young girls
6.) Great facial expression / posses = funny pictures
7.) Overall it's just plain enjoyable
8.) Finally I'd assume it has completely blown up because of all of the above and the fact that it's MY LITTLE PONIES; men aren't "allowed" to like girlie things

This guy has every single episode but the last one on his youtube page. The first two are rather predictable and boring compared to the rest... but they have to setup some background information, I guess. If you find those boring at least give the third episode a try.

Rarity is by far my favorite of the mane six and the only one who beats her in terms of my favorites is Derpy Hooves, but only just. And that's just because she's Derpy Hooves, not because she's an awesome character in the show.

I would appreciate the humor and writing just as much if it were with Powerpuff humans instead of ponies. Liking a few cartoons with animal characters doesn't make you a furry. Furry is a fandom about anthropomorphised animals, as otaku is for anime-related things in general. I'm not otaku for having a soft spot for Miyazaki and early Toei shows, so why would I be a furry over MLP?

Though white mages with cat ears are a free class upgrade...
