Because he just wanted to be one of the heroes, due to his awsome powers. The powers of knowing how thinks works. But he were never able to show it off

Also. He looks so arrogant. And when in small enough prtions, arrogant is totally awsome!

my favriote is Sylar because he is just cool espechialy when he kills
I also Like peter but in series 3 he lost his power then gotthe new one which isnt as good as Sylar

Matt 'cos we share the same name...yeah i'm cool. Though to be fair Peter now sucks and Sylar went all emo in the last series lost all respect for him, the guy who plays him is freaking badass at acting scenes where he's fighting people and about to kill them so why the hell aren't they giving him more. Sylar should kill atleast one person per episode...not in gruesome ways, just so that he gets new abilities and the show can stay somewhat fresh, though that's not going to happen after 3 seasons of the same thing.

lol I don't really know anyone ashamed of wacthing heroes... It's one of my favorite shows. I'm not saying it's the best, but it's the one that entertains me the most; I like the characters and the story is smart enough and keeps my glued to the screen. I bet there are some stuid contradictions on small details of the story but I'm too busy enjoying myself while watching to think about these
On the other hand, I would be really ashamed if I liked Prison Break. Or Lost. Come on! Polar bears? Pfft. (Not To Be Taken As An Offense. I know really aggressive Lost fans :S)

I'm just curious if anyone still likes that series. I've seen 3 episodes and though it was shit, I thought it's something people watch, but are too ashamed to talk about.

If you only watch three episodes you're going to miss the entire point, which is the main series-long storyline.

And yes, Heroes gets a lot of nerd hate because it's story degraded after the first series, but that didn't make it bad, just worse that how it started.

It's a tie between Hiro, Sylar, and Matt for me. I like Hiro just because hes got the whole noble thing going on and hes funny. Sylar for sheer mass of power, and because hes just a manipulating bad ass. Lastly Matt, because hes just that one guy out trying to help others and make a difference and just live his own life, oh and he can trap you in your own mind and convince you to kill yourself? intense...

I like the Hiro + Ando combo. I was also pumped up for a Sylar and Peter go on a killing spree type thing to happen, but sadly it did not. It's at the point where I'm pretty tired of a lot of the characters.

I hate the entire premise of the show, because it's about people that get awesome powers, then go on to perpetually whine about it and sulk.
Superheroes and angst go together about as well as a penis and a pencil sharpener.

Mine has to be Sylar as of right now. After last nights episode even the spike to the base of the brain didn't keep him down, and that is the thing that is supposed to keep those darn regenerators sown.
