Wow dude, read through you spelling before you post.

Wow dude, read through your grammar before you criticize another's spelling.

and my favorite guy is the one that is really fast with a sword, preferably a big sword
but in WoW I roll hunter so I guess I'd choose ranger here

Mercenary. Incorporates aspects of warriors and rogues.
And is great for neutral character affiliation. My favorite affiliation.

A zealous berserker jumping at your throat in the name of his god. Gods in fantasy universes are badass.

I was kinda hoping this thread would be about fantasy races. Then id yell DWARF! from the top of my lungs. But I guess warrior and dwarf go hand in hand. As dwarves usually dont want anything to do with magic.

Not sure about the difference between mages and wizards if there are any. I only know the difference between wizards and sorcerers by D&D standards. (wizards learn magic through study)

There is no rogue or theif!

So i'll go with the next best thing, and pick ranger. Rangers are almost thieves, i mean look at Robin hood!

What the!? You have Wizard and Mage but no healer type class? Barbarian and Warrior but no Sneaky class?

I refuse to vote for my Fav'Riotè!

Even it is the druid/ranger nature boy.

I read in 'the complete arcane' in 3.5 ed. That a mage is a term that common folk use for any arcane spellcaster because few can tell the difference between a sorcerer, warlock, or wizard.

Necromancer because im tired of playing as one of the good guys. Plus having an army of the undead which can only grow in numbers is a huge plus to.

Question: Why isn't there a thief /stealth class in the poll?

Can you guess which class of character, I'd choose?
Rob. Moran - "I wanna cast a spell" =P

(Sorcerer, in case you're being too slow or fell for the red herring.)

Druid. Especially the shapeshifting ones. And really, they've got all angles covered:

Bear/Wolf form for close quarters combat. Nature magic for long distance spellcasting (vine entanglement, thunderbolts, etc.) AND being able to ask for help from the passing pack of hungry wolves.

Wizard. Or mage. Seirously, why put both there?

Anyway, which sounds cooler:

"Using the raw power of my will, I draw forth the unlimited powering force of the universe to write my desires onto the tapestry of the world. Such is the impossible strength of the energy that I must weaken and focus it into a more managable form with the arcance gestuers, words of power and items found in this realm and beyond"

vs.

"I swing my sword at him. And try to hit him in the neck."
Y'know, these are the kind of comparisons I hate. I can twist it the other way too, by the way.

Which sounds cooler:

Spending years of your life training endlessly to harmonize both your mind and body around this weapon that has become part of your being, a reflection of your soul. This mix of steel and leather that has become an example of your dedication and honor and has become as much a companion to you as anyone you've traveled with. Toiling to perfect both form and instinct to become a warrior with no equal. Besting foe after foe until you rise above the rest and become master of your own form that you may pass down to others.

vs.

I wave my hand and fire appears.

Both have their merits, and no choice is better than another.
I would choose bard, incidentally. Being able to kick someones ass with a song is just too funny sometimes.

So I guess its a generalization then? Could we even say its a generalization of all the magic schools without going into the details? as in: abjurer, conjurer, evocator etc. all fall under the title: mage?

I would have to say warrior (after all, who else get's to swing around a 'happy stick' with insane glee and intent to harm?).

Ranger. I like to be stealthy and ranger fits that the most, and crossbows/bows and arrows are just plain awesome. I'm actually not that bad a shot myself IRL, to be honest :D.
This. Replace "not a bad shot" with an awesome freaking great shot IRL.
Pfft, I bet you suck at shooting in real li..!!THWOP!! *collapses with an arrow sticking out of his forehead*

ot: where is the rogue?
