I have a phobia of hypodermic needles. No idea why. I wouldn't have too much of a problem with people with knives or wrestling wild dogs... but something about needles... they just make me incredibly uneasy no matter how small. Even nails being driven through a hand don't seem as scary to me.

And watching the people who get scared of needles and cry and even faint while getting them just makes it funnier for me.
It is very funny. I once saw a guy punch a nurse because of how scared he was.

I dont necesarily fear needles. But I do have a deep distrust of medical personel. I only accept shots from my own doctor.

I took allergy shots as a kid so I got over it. Now I get blood drawn like every month to check on my Lupus.

I fear styrofoam far more than I fear needles.

If i had a fear of needles, why would i want to be a doctor? it's just another medical apparatus, no different from a stethoscope or x-ray. yet you don't see people with a fear of hearing their lungs or heart about 20-30 Db louder than usual.

I've always been fine with needles, except for the few hours after I saw the film 'Audition'. Kiri kiri kiri kiri kiri...

I think I hear them a little bit. I'm not comfortable with it breaking into my skin and taking out some of my body essentially. It's my blood, you know?

Scared as hell of those things, because when I was a child, I had to get rabies shots. And those fuckers hurt. Oh, yeah, and 34 other needles, because we were planning on being in Venezuela for 3 years... turns out we only went three months. So, long story short, I have a hatred of needles, and am currently immune to rabies.
Hoorah! Now you can pet all the raccoons you want! XD
Hoorah indeed! Racoons are so cuddly!

I'm okay with needles as long as I don't see them. This made my life interesting for a while, since I'm diabetic. Thankfully, I found a device that holds the needle for you, you push a button, and it does the rest. Much easier.

I have given blood and been on a morphine drip. If someone wanted to use a needle on my scrotum, then I would be worried, but that is pretty much it.

I'm not scared of needles, but that doesn't mean I like 'em. But that's probably because I don't even like looking at my viens, never mind sticking something in them.

Just keep them the fuck away from getting too close to my eyes and I'll be okay.

I've been known to run from school and hide in the nearby forest for upwards of 4 hours to avoid having a needle do so much as come near me during flu seasons. So yes, I am afraid of needles. Very afraid of needles.

I don't faint when I'm forced to take one though, thankfully.

i'll avoid them if i can but should there be a time when that's not possible i'll be ok to have the injection. i used to live with medical students and they wanted to practice taking blood so i volunteered. he was shaking so much when he was about to put in the needle it didn't exactly fill me with confidence. then when the needle went in by vein my blood spurted u by arm. aah, fun times.
