It's a conundrum.

Personally I don't know if I'd be interested but the more I think about it, the more I think I would be.

I know however that there are many people who would watch something like that.

No. I won't support us devolving into the same shit that went down in the Colosseum. That was brutal, primitive, and just flat out wrong.

Isn't what you have described the UFC pretty much? Regardless I am not that into sports and probably wouldn't watch it.
No, they don't kill each other and they're not criminals. Sure, you break a few bones and lose a few teeth, but you don't end up dead. And those who fight do it voluntarily.

It's incredibly frightening to see that many people voting yes and only about 20% no. I mean it's murder, flat out murder so that you can watch and scream for blood?

I don't have cable even basic. I can't really see a way to justify it either, I mean even if both were volunteers from death row (which is something I'd have to agree with also), I feel rewarding them for murder flys in the face of any justice system.

Which doesn't mean I don't want to or wouldnt watch it, just I can't find a way that wouldn't make me feel like a shit person if I did.

Yeah I'd watch it. Then again I must be a throwback to a more primitive time as I'm obviously not as enlightened as the moral brigade.

You know...I don't have anything better to do with my time, can I join in for the bonus round?

OT: I'd probably watch it once to see how it was set up and then never again.

Probably.
I never really watch the damn thing anyway. If anything, it'll just serves as backround noise while I do other things.

As long as it doesn't go the way of The Running Man movie did. I swear, if I have to listen through some of Arnie's horrid one-liners from that movie, I'm liable to snap. Then I'd end up on the show, ect. It's a horrible cycle, really.
