Poll: Fighter Game Re-Re-Releases

You mean like buying SF4 then SSF4:AE well I will eventually for characters but preowned or very cheap at a Steam sale despite the fact I find it disgraceful. They could have easily balanced it with patches and released characters with the original game or cheaply via DLC although at least with SSFVI you know they weren't on the original disc so you aren't just buying unlock code in reality.

As much as I'm going to hate myself later that day, I am going to buy UMvC3. But I'm going with a similar technique of buying it used so that Capcom gets no profit off of my sale.

I wouldn't mind so much if it was a solid expansion like Nights of The Nine or Shivering Isles but it does annoy me that they charge the price of a whole new game.

Sometimes it feels like Capcom goes out of their way to show their fans how much they do not care. I remember when SSF4 came out and their "reward" was that the downloadable costumes would transfer over.

I don't think I would even mind it so much if they had kept up with some dlc, or weren't shutting down the online servers, or something to show they didn't just forget everyone had bought it since it had been a whole week without someone putting money in their pocket.

they put in my favorite character though (Ghost Rider), I was hoping he would be in the first version before it came out.
