I finally watched the second. I loved it. The action kept the whole film a float, and the cartoonist retro dings and chimes were refreshing. I still (typically) enjoyed the first quite a handful more. Your thoughts?

High Voktage did everything a sequel should. that is go a step above the original in every way. So Crank2 gets my vote
I voted for Crank, since I've never seen the second one. I've heard mixed reviews, so I'm kinda weary of it.

Crank 2 being that's the only one i've seen of the two and the fact that is has all sorts of cinematic mind-fuckery
i liked both, although the second one's musical score was done by Mike Patton, so that gives it a bit of an unfair advantage right there
I love them both but Crank 1 had a bit more for me. Crank 2 was totally awesome and is well worth seeing though.
Not seen the second movie but the first seems to be like what you'd get if you put GTA into a movie... Seriously remember those mindless rampages you'd get your self into when you were board playing GTA's story... well this movie is pretty much that. Mindless, stupid action and that is just satisfying and hilarious.
I say the first movie deserves the cake. It just kept the flow going on and you felt the adrenaline. 2 was good, but it wasn't good enough.
I loved Crank. It's actually like a GTA movie when you think about it. And I loved the public sex scene. That was hilarious.
i usually always like the originals better, but this is one of the exceptions. I liked High Voltage better. I laughed for a good 10 minutes on the Godzilla spoof.
