Poll: Fine cigars and alcohol.

Jim Beam bourbon, although not very often, and never with ice. Also, unstamped apple brandy, where there's only the faintest whiff of apples. I've been told more than once that I have a peasant's palate, but so be it. I long ago tired of objecting to people who order only twelve year-old Scotch and then mix it with Coke. As to cigars, I try to avoid putting anything in my mouth if it's on fire.

I defend my right to ice, just as I defend my right to cream in my coffee. I find the alcoholic burn prevents me from fully appreciating the flavors of the scotch, so just a touch of ice opens it all up.

I guess this means I'm a dainty flower that cannot withstand the full power of a fine scotch, so give me my ice, goddammit before I come over that bar and start pouring for myself, you bastard!

i know ill lose some respect if i say this but i like my scotch with ice also.. never more than 2 cubes of course but still i find it takes the edge off and i like my alcohol with a bit of a chill to it.

Hmmm, well in Glasgow (where I go to uni) there's a whisky shop where some bottles sell for more than £1000 (which I guess is around $1800). Now, I may not be a fan of scotch, but that seems ridiculous, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference in taste, nor would I ever have an occasion that I deemed special enough to open it.

I also don't smoke, but I do do enjoy the odd drink, and love decent red wine, but since I'm a student I can only afford bad red wine, something that constantly disappoints me.

I've honestly never smoked, though if I did I'd go straight to Cigars. If you're gonna destroy your lungs you might as well do it in style.

I've also never done drugs of any kind (and don't ever plan to change that)

But I continously drink (anything) until I have run out of bottles. I have drunk a whole cooler full of cans of expired beer, which isn't as bad as it sounds (Note, I drank from the cans, not the cooler)

Just a word of caution, don't drink alcopops that are 2 months past their use-by-date. We used this as a method of disposing with past-their-prime drinks in the pub I used to work at- give them to the staff. For some reason, some of them would make you sick if you drank them.
That said, you probably shouldn't drink alcopops ever.
Except maybe Smirnoff Ice Double Blacks. Why does Oz have so much better alcopops? Is it related to the lack of decent ale?

No, it's the abundance of teens wanting to get shitfaced. Alcopops and goon are a god send when you hit puberty.

Depending on what I have at hand, I smoke regular cigs, Cuban or Dominican cigars (though I have a soft spot for Flor de Copan, from Honduras), hand-rolled cigarettes, cigarillos or sometimes pipe tobacco.
PROTIP : cigars taste better if lit with matches.

I had some weed, but some muhfuggin bastard smoke it all while I was at work...

Otherwise, a good Flor de Copan will do wonders with my favourite mix :

I drink pretty much anything, beer, wine, scotch, paddy, bourbon, champagne, brandy, absinthe.

Life just doesn't get any better than this, beats vidya games to me.

I'm not a big gin drinker, but Gordon's is fine, I'll have some Beefeater too. Never tried Bombay Sapphire.

Who's up for a nice shot of Chivas Regal 18 ? or Glenfiddish ? Glenturret maybe ?

God I'm at work and I'm dreaming of my bottles of chouchen (Hydromel -honey wine, from Bretagne) and Jägermeister (German plants liquor)...

i went up to a bartender once (i was completely out of it and not thinking right at all... i asked him for a pint of scotch... with 2 ice cubes ... (i had been drinking scotch all night and he expected me to say a double scotch with 2 cubes) anyway all night i called it scotch and every time he corrected me saying it was whisky.. so when i asked for this pint... he said sure... then turned around to the bar, and then turned back around and said... you mean whisky... and i said.. no... for the 12th time... i mean scotch.. and he jokingly said... until you call it whisky im cutting you off.. and then told me he wasnt going to give me a pint considering this was the 12th round and i had been drinking doubles all night.. so me and my friends decided to leave... me being much more drunk then the rest... which is odd because usually im sober and they are drunk... then next time i went in he said if i was going to ask for another pint of whisky i might as well leave now... bastard... i was looking forward to my pint lol XD

I smoke the occasional fine cigar if they're available. Haven't smoked a cigar in a long time though. Never smoke weed or cigarettes.

I like to think I'm a connoisseur of beer and whiskey. I only seldom drink scotch.

I only smoke Cubans so I haven't smoked in a while. other then that I smoke cigs when I jog and because of my ever increasing tolerance have been forced to stick to Karkov vodka which I'm drinking now. On special occasions though I enjoy a half dozen or so Bombay sapphire gin and tonics

The majority of the time I smoke Marlboro Smooths which is a menthol cigarette.I occasionally get a chance to smoke a really expensive cigar thanks to my dad and when I do I love it.
