I drink pretty much anything that isn't wine or spirits (excluding mixed drinks). Never smoked and never plan to, unless (and only possibly) if it was a Cuban cigar.

Not trying to be a troll or anything, I did answer the poll (and for the sake of contributing validly to the topic, I drink lager and cider but I don't smoke), but I can't help but be a little disppointed that we have a thread being ressurected about the finer things in life, as it were, and yet most people seem to be ignoring the thread about Comic Relief and actually making a good difference to the lives of other, disadvantaged people. I wouldn't mention this but in the UK it is Red Nose Day and Comic Relief are trying to raise money for projects in Africa and the UK for the disadvantaged, and yet we are here talking about a thread to do with cigars and alcohol? It just strikes me as pretty ignorant and hypocritical that this should be happening, although that said much greater and worse ignorance is usually displayed by pretty much everyone on a daily basis, all over the Western World...

I enjoy Crown Royal, Wild Turkey, Johnnie Walker Black Label, and Henessey Cognac. I do not smoke though. I only drink the good stuff when it's BYOB. Otherwise I'll drink Bud Light and Keystone and cheap stuff.

I agree, they'll surely be comforted to know we aren't enjoying ourselves, either.

I enjoy trying new and different beverages; I'm currently on a scotch kick and transitioning from stouts and porters to IPAs and pilsners as the weather improves.

Cheers to Mahogany Slide and the other hookah fiends.

You cant beat having your friends come over in a suit then sitting back with a whisky and smoking fine cigars while disuccussing important gaming matters.

heh, funny how these things work out.. isnt it.. but you know as well as i do that in times of recession and even in times when we are supposed to be paying attention to other peoples suffering(i.e. comic relief) we all still think of ourselves...

and to be honest all of those advertisements where they shove dead/dying people in your face and guilt you into paying have lost every shred of sympathy i used to have... maby im just a cold person..

the world is falling to shit my friends... might as well make it memorable..

I couldn't resist making a thread for people who love fine cigars, scotch (or whatever your favourite drink is) so, if you agree with me that you cant beat fine cigars, scotch(or any alcohol), and music (in my case Frank Sinatra). Also if you were to disagree with me then post away.
Fine cigars, scotch and Frank Sinatra were all invented to mingle with one another. I'm not keen on the cigars though, more of a cigarette man but still, a fine combination.

light heartedly? thats why you used death, something that is not to be taken lightly by the sane, to describe why smoking is better than old age.
please, lives are worth far less than they were before.. just relax and live your life... not every serious topic needs to be taken seriously ALL the time... besides you are making this thread SEVERELY off topic... if you want to post another message saying "smokers are idiots" then whatever, but I?m not going to respond to it.

My my. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today... yeesh.

Anyway... Tried weed a couple of times. Meh. Definitely not as advertised.

I prefer alcohol, especially in game form, but even that isn't the end all be all of good times for me.

A Cohibas Robusto Especiale or a Montecristo No.1 along with a few good stiff shots of Lagavulin, Talisker or Bunnubhain and all the world lies at your feet. Laphroaig's pretty good too.

Right now I'm all in to my weird oriental drinks, due to being in Seoul. They do love their soju here but the best shit is this weird bamboo spirit whose name I can't possibly spell.

I dont smoke but I drink expensive alcohol. A good bottle of wine once every two week is a good thing. I also keep the irish cream, whisky, vodka, schnapps and tequila in a bar with my prized possession; Unoppened bottle of Jack Daniel's Barrel house 1 that I got in 1994.
