You must be really turned on by such things as Gears of War, and the new Doom.

my friend, I hate gears of war and its just cover based shallow console shooter. so dont compare it to old school fast paced classic like Doom.

You go on about GoW being "shallow," yet saying "i want my games to be badass and manly" is easily the most shallow comment on this thread (and also one of the most gramatically incorrect - it's "I").

And even though they're separate genres, I'd put GoW above Doom in a heartbeat.

because like i said gears of war is just boring, repetetive cover based shooter. you just take cover and shoot and health regenerate.

Doom on other hand is fast paced shooter with no iron sight, no regen health and no take cover. this is how you make a shooter.

I'm not going to derail this thread into an unrelated debate, but word of advice, if you want to make the assertion that x is better than y, you could try to go for a more substantive argument.

I started playing a game with my roommates.

I would show them a character from Birthright, and ask "Boy or Girl?"

It was pretty sad how frequently they got it wrong.

I don't know if I'm just used to the anime aesthetic or not, but it's pretty rare for me to get the genders of characters wrong unless they're deliberately androgynous. The designs in Fates aren't really that ambiguous I don't think.

I know right, who hasn't committed a war crime by accident.
But that's why you got to love your family, no one's perfect and sometimes they send you on suicide missions because they misjudged the enemy, sometimes they misguide your babysitter and it turns out that the man was a convicted criminal.
Perhaps he is just a bit too strict.
But how can't hate a man that:

Spent his life trying to solve the issues of his country
Was asgore wit his heart on his sleeve until court mistresses started killing his children
Cares about the people
One of the few FE villians not to be under the control of a sorcerer

If it was intentional it was tactical genius come to think of it.

Actually given that the weapon didn't blow up the first time we were alone with the queen (and frankly having it explode when they were alone, dooming here and if not killing him getting him killed by the palace guards would have been much more effective)
