Some time ago, as I can (and do) play all my Gameboy games on a Gameboy Colour instead.

My first console was a Gameboy Pocket. I saved for it for so so long, and when I was finally able to buy one, being the 9 year old kid I was, I didn't have the cash to actually buy a game. And my parents, 'course they didn't care, so I had to save up for months (I was a patient little 9 year old) until my 10th birthday when I got the cash to buy Pokemon Red. O how happy I was, I fired it up again for nostalgic reasons a few weeks ago. I love the Route 1 music so so much. So much that I'm going to post it right here:
That's the sound of a great adventure starting right there. Brilliant.

Popeye for the Colecovision. Ya I can't see me breaking out a Coleco anytime soon. Especially for Popeye. It has been over 15 years since I touched one.

SNES was the first console I ever "owned", and I truly can't pick one game as my favorite on the system as I'm torn between Top Gear, Super Turrican, and Sparkster.

My first piece of gaming equipment was a computer, it was a long time ago, so I don't remember the name. I do, however remember playing Doom on the computer. My brother and I had a blast.

Mortal Kombat. Mega Drive I. Still love it, but it's tough to play on a keyboard.

First computer I (or rather my dad, given I was only a nipper at the time :p) owned was a ZX Spectrum.

I particularly enjoyed Hungry Horace: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz3r_s2Zc4M - the original survival horror! Those purple heads were terrifying.

I also liked Slippery Sid and Wonderboy.

Horace goes Skiing was the first spectrum game that I played. One of the greatest gaming mascots of all time alongside Dizzy, Miner Willy and Monty Mole.

Ah, Dizzy, that was another one. I didn't have any Dizzy games on the Spectrum (I think) but definitely had a fair few on the Commodore 64...along with the mighty Paperboy of course!

Sega Master System

and there was some shooting game with a light gun (which my dad had), but I can't remember its name. So, I'd have to say the second Sonic game.

The very first game I can remember playing was a Berzerk knockoff on my TRS-80 Color Computer...sigh. I feel old now.
