I shaved for my first ever date, when I was 14. My uncle actually showed me how to shave.

I haven't got a clue.
I'm quite surprised so many people know the exact year as well...

My ex used to sort my facefluff out when I was monging out in her room watching TV, that's a weird memory...
I don't have overly active beard skills and I'm 20 now, I can get away with about 2 days until it annoys me.

I had mine 3 years ago a little bit before my 14th birthday. I remeber that I had so little hair on my chin and lip that it looked like there wasen't even a point to shaving it, but I did it anyways because I just wanted to learn how to shave.

I wanna say I was about 15 when I started, but I can't be bothered to remember since it's somthing I have to do every two days or I start looking like my dad, somthing I try to avoid at all costs.

I was 13, and after 2 or 3 times of doing it, I started "forgetting" to shave and now I have a chin strap, 2 year later

I am 18 now and i doubt the future will make much of a difference.. Besides my facial hair looks ugly.. Its all wirey and looks like pubes.. So i just shave it all off..

16. But I didn't really needs to that badly, I just thought I'd go for it.

That was the start of the slippery slope where each shave only makes the hair stronger!

I really can't remember.

I think I was probably 13-15-ish. I used an electric razor, and despite only needing to shave every fortnight or so I still managed to shred my face up.

Now I wet-shave. A much smoother cut and better for the skin.

I've gone past the "I hate it" stage - that was back when I was 18 or so (I'm coming up to 21 now by the way). The only thing that bugs me is that I'm working on turning my goatee into a Viking beard, and I keep trimming the stubble off where I actually want it to expand. Old habits die hard I guess. So *that* bugs me, but not shaving itself - it's just something that is now a part of my daily routine (well...every other day. I don't usually get up in time, and since I tend to need to shave within a few hours of shaving it's not like there's a lot of difference if I miss a day - I'm a hairy bastard all the same).

Some days I swear I'm more gorilla than man, the amount of hair on me :\
