Gaming is a culture yes but a country no, Movies? no flag Music? no flag. See what I'm getting at?

Also if we had to I'd say a really big coat of arms with a small picture for each major genre.

it should be a d-pad, with the appropriate WASD on each arm as well, on a shield and two crossed swords, all on a red field, with a depiction of genres in black. that would be baddass

we could also work in the original play station symbol, the Nintendo N, and the Xboxs' X.

if you want there could be a sega SEGA logo, and the dreamcasts' thing

Problem is... what would be the symbol? I mean there's gamers of many many many different categories. I guess no people would complain if we choose a companion cube symbol for our flag tho...

We do have flags. Two of them, usually - one red, one blue. Attempting to combine these and still retain their original meaning is impossible. :p

it should be black, flat black, so should our military uniforms. black with black head coverings to inspire fear in our enemies when they see our hordes flowing towards them. and look cool. im going to assume that we would get some clones or robots or something to do physical tasks. that would actually make it spookier, we dont even need uniforms if we do that.

That might be because they're not anyone's overlords except their own.

1. yeah, redshirts, thats why i suggested either clones or robots (think star wars). and yes, PC gaming is the master race. you dont think we PC users make YOUR games because we think your better, do you? or are you really THAT low. damn, i smell a civil war before we even draw out the map. lets just agree that we get strategy RPGs and shooters, you get platformers all the good kids games and button mashers. all other genres (and mixed games, like assassins creed) can do as they wish.

A flag for gamers. A nondescript controller crossed with a keyboard, and in the background a display device with a skull on it and a black background.

I wrote a rant on the flag for the gaming industry, first and I felt sorry for it so I left it anyway as a side note.

At the moment, the flag that represents the gaming industry is a blank white flag. Why? Because the gaming industry is drawing a blank at the suggestion. Let's make something new. I think I had my fill of World war 2 first person shooters. I don't know how many more RTSs on the genre I am willing to swallow.... ranting. Anyway. This is it. A white flag. Surrender. We surrender our companies to people with imagination, and writing skills.
