I love Flash games. I think it is because they remind me of a simpler time when games were both challenging and fun and graphics and story were secondary. "So I'm an overweight Italian jumping on walking mushrooms and turtles trying to find a princess? Ok."

Flash games took on a life of their own when I was in the Marines. We would spend countless hours when we were at work with nothing to do competing at various Flash games.

Everyone loves them.

Yep and newgrounds is probably the best place for flash games in my opinion.

I do enjoy the occasion flash game. I'm not some kind of indie flash game aficionado, but I like them.

There's a few I really like(d) but overall I have to vote "Nope". Most just don't have enough to them to keep me entertained for long and the ones that do generally have a better version of non-flashed.

Yes, but those cost money. The situation is a double-win when you consider that Newgrounds, Armor Games, and so on charge NOTHING for the run of their sites. I can understand your points, of course.

I gotta agree with FalloutJack about Newgrounds, and Armor Games being free to run and how they're both win situations, but yeah I can see where New Troll's coming from.

I'm completely addicted to various flash based platformers. They're just so much more inventive than almost any platformer on any of the consoles.
