Both definately have their perks, but I have to go with flying because on the physics of Portal by Valve they have not indicated teleporting has any affect on momentum/inertia of the object. I see teleporting as basically able to open both a orange and blue portal at the same time anywhere you want. As for the momentum problem, if you are in a car doing 60 Mph and you go over a cliff, if you teleport out of the car and onto the cliff you would still have the momentum of the 60 mph and youd get messed up hitting the ground and rolling on that speed possibly going over the cliff again depending where you teleported to.
But since this all conjecture on a hypothetical ability, I can freely admit to having no shame basing my opinion mainly on just a video game :)

Fly, I currently fly planes, so being able to fly without one would save me heaps of money... But teleport means i can sleep in and not have to spend money on fuel... Id go flying though still for the joys of having no boundarys

Can I teleport inside of people and make them explode? Can I break down others particles or only mine? In general, it's safer and more efficient, arguably faster as well. It could also have combat applications as well, if you can manipulate others that is. I don't see why you couldn't just break down a targeted object's particles, break it down, then choose not to reform it.
Also, defying the general laws of physics = Epic Win.

Teleportation yo, you could be a great magician.

You know, bury yourself under 20 feet of concrete and appear in a box five feet away. Or on live feet be on Hong Kong, then teleport to New York.

Teleportation...flying would be cold! It would be so fun and awesome though, still you can just keep teleporting in the sky so you don't fall to the ground, you would almost get the same thrill of flying.

Plus teleporting is way faster.

Teleportation of course. Teleportation is faster as has already been mentioned and it has combat applications.

Why can't I choose telekinesis? That's the only super power I've ever wanted.

Teleportation is sorta the obvious choice. For starters, you can use it indoors...

Your experience from something comes from the journey, not the destination. I choose flying.

Flying you defy gravity.
Teleporting you defy the natural laws of physics.
Not true. Laws of physics has nothing against teleportation. Scientists have actually teleported subatomic particles(hint: we are made of those).

Who says you aren't using telekinesis to make yourself fly?

I think teleportation is for me. I have always wanted to be able to do both, but I think teleportation is more practical.

Instant Transmission Teleporting.

It's faster, and I could continually teleport into the sky to simulate flight.

What's that? Come over and jam for a bit? Be there in a second.

If you were flying fast you would not be able to see or breathe, It would be like when you stick your head out of the car window at higher speeds. If it were not for that It would be totally cooler.

Flying is obviously cooler, but I can't just fly over, say, the Atlantic Ocean on my own. You'd still die from starvation or dehydration being limited to speeds that do not rip your face off or stop you from breathing.

Hence I'd go for teleportation, in the end it's just more useful. For short distances though I'd obviously go for flying. So much cooler.
