Poll: Foods that taste better when eaten as leftovers

Does anyone else think that pizza and mac n' cheese taste better when microwaved the day after it's made?
Certain foods just taste better later on.

Chilli is the best after is has has a few days in the fridge. I think the same would hold true with most soup like items as the spices/flavors have time to spread throughout the entire meal.

Back home, friday nights used to be Pizza Nights. I used to love waking up on saturday morning, popping some leftover slices in the toaster oven, and eating pizza for breakfast.

Cold morning after pizza is basically the greatest food ever. Also leftovers from Christmas dinner are not only great, but get better as you get closer to New Years Day.

I wouldn't say better in most cases, but it certainly gains it's own flavour which can often be pretty tasty.

And chicken.They're nicer a day or 2 after being cooked

Most curries, because the longer you leave it for, the hotter it gets.

And I do love my hot curry.

I find that cold pizza is quite nice... As are cold sausages (Cold from being left on the side or something after being cooked and not eaten)

Certain pies also are nicer after being left for a while (Gives time for the pastry to stay together better and the gravy to be spread evenly across the entire pie)

Curries, with the exception of lentil curry which tastes best fresh but is very nice the following day on toast with cheese.

I do love me some day old chicken in a sandwich with mayonaise and salad.

Pizza deffo. Curry, chinese and chili cause the flavors have had more time to absorb and whatnot. BBQ meat aswell

This. Having Christmas dinner leftovers on the 26th is nearly better than what you eat on the 25th.

Pizza tastes about as good as leftovers. Same goes for turkey and meatloaf. Fries and anything with lettuce are just horrible though.
