Calzones; I never eat the whole thing, Raja makes them monolithic. Cold donner meat and roasted tikka chicken with cheese, onions and jalapenos in ready made sandwich form ^_^

Albeit I usually order them when I'm pretty darn hammered :)

Leftover pizza when you are drunk or hungover becomes the equivalence of ambrosia.

I'm not really one to waste, but I'd say that some foods do, others don't.

Chinese food is a brilliant example of food that tastes better as leftovers.

Curry! Seriously curry gets better every day you don't eat it. When I have a curry I always cook it the day before I want it, leave it to marinade over a day then it's utterly sublime. When I get a stakeout, I eat half and have the other half for breakfast; amazing. Although not that I do that much anymore, I have a nasty habit of smoking a few spliffs after I eat the first half and then wolfing down the second half. Damn you munches! *shakes fist*

I fucking love curry.

Curries, with the exception of lentil curry which tastes best fresh but is very nice the following day on toast with cheese.

I do love me some day old chicken in a sandwich with mayonaise and salad.
Curry on toast? Madness! But I am intrigued to try it.

Pizza and mac? I guess, I like ti fresh personally.

Though chilli and funeral potatoes taste great the day after they're made. (funeral potatoes for those who don't know what they are, are basically cut/sliced/diced/etc. potatoes smothered in some kind of cheese mixture with crumbeled chips/bread/etc. on top. It is a heart attack in the form of food but it is delicious.)
Hah hah, I was reading that and thinking "funeral potatoes? This guy's messed up" before you explained what they were.

Chili, soups, and stew. I always find them better after they have aged a bit.

Well, I don't know what kind of crappy pizza are you eating but mine is better straight out of the oven. I agree it does have a good diffrent taste but not better.

Anyway, Pasta leftover is pretty good, depending on the sauce.

I find that some food like spaghetti or a kind of casserole dish ALWAYS get better the next day. But some food like bread or barbequed chicken taste much better fresh.

Homemade spaghetti especially. Chili is too. Pizza is okay as leftover, but only if you heat it up in a covered pan on the stove. Cold pizza isn't as good. And leftover mac n cheese is terrible, why does everyone keep saying it's good in this thread? It's dried out and doesn't taste as cheesy, bleh.

Nothing in particular that hasn't been mentioned. However, there is nothing like something greasy and cold to help with a hangover the next morning!

Some foods do taste better after sitting, I believe this actually is due to the chemical compounds breaking down and/or merging further into others. Don't quote me on that but I could sweat I've heard Alton Brown talk about it before, the guys a fuckin' genious!
