I did a search, forgive me but I had specific goals to address with this thread that I didn't see addressed elsewhere.
There may be spoilers in this thread.

Most of the above options cover so much of what I love about PS:T. I voted for Fall-from-Grace myself. In fact I still want to know what's in her diary, would appreciate said information (cookies, maybe as payment?)

Easily one of my favorite games and one of my top picks for an RPG. I'm going to spring for the money for a new copy when I can afford it so I can try the latest mods out. It will be good, like opening a cherished book and finding new chapters. Even if the new chapters suck as long as the ending isn't made horrid it will be worth it. I was bummed at the ending because it meant I couldn't learn more about Fall-from-Grace but ah well, all good things eventually come to an end.

The philosophical positions portrayed certainly didn't hurt and made the trip more interesting with the other characters.

While Fall was my favorite, I loved them all. Was an excellent story and trip.

I liked how your stats affected how your game went in more than just character upgrades. For example you needed a certain number of INT (or was it WIS?) in order to solve that damn riddle posed by the damn riddling skeleton in the significantly less-damn city filled with undead. Come to think of it, I also liked how you could cop out and become king of the undead instead of doing the storyline. That is choice. It's not just Good/Evil endings, mister Molyneux

Storyline. Best Ive ever experienced, and easily matches any of the best books or films Ive ever read or seen. Should never be left out of a discussion of how games can be art.

There was no other area of the game that could match the storytelling and writing for me. Not only because it was so amazing, but because some things we sadly genuinely done poorly. Always gets my vote for best story, but because other areas come up lacking in my opinion I always give my overall award of my favourite RPG to Baldurs Gate II, where I found the game excelled in all areas.
