Poll: For those who have voted to kill/save Carmine.

So almost everyone should know by now that the fate of Clayton Carmine is in our hands. Available on the marketplace are two avatar t-shirts, one to save him and one to kill him. The votes will be counted and they will determine the fate of the third Carmine brother. Also, for every t-shirt purchased by us, a small amount of proceeds will go to the Penny Arcade children's charity, so it's all for a good cause.

My question for those who have voted, did you chose to kill or save Clayton Carmine?

EDIT: I forgot to mention my choice. I voted to kill Carmine.

I vote save, admittedly I actually didn't vote officially but I support everyone who did. One Carmine needs to live.

That said, looking at his picture I can't help but notice that the old lovable charm of the original two Carmines seems to be gone and replaced by another angry toughened soldier, so even if Carmine does get saved it ultimately doesn't feel like it's the real Carmine being saved.

Hoo-hoo, 50-50 at the moment . Anyway, I voted to Save Carmine. I just get the feeling it would give a nice 'Saving Private Ryan' vibe to the whole thing, plus if a Carmine brother is in the party as one of the allied AI it would be funny to hear Cole and Baird making quips about Carmine's dead brothers, and having the new Carmine get all upset over it.

Clayton Carmine is a character in Gears of War 3. He is the brother of previous Carmines, Anthony and Benjamin. The Carmines have been treated as red shirts mostly since both the previous Carmines died horrible deaths (usually near the beginning) and now Epic games is giving us the chance to decide Clayton's fate.

Of course Carmine must die. A Carmine that doesn't die in a sudden and hilarious way just isn't deserving of the Carmine family name.

I bought the save T-shirt, and it's hard being the only avatar in a party with save when most of my friends are wearing carmine must die T-shirts. I think I would have preferred it if Clay had been like his brothers, plain and weedy.

Slightly off topic, does anyone else see an heroic death looming for Dom?

The reason there was a second was because the first was such an Ensemble Darkhorse. Killing off the most popular character(s) seems like a dick move.
