Fun Fact: Hell existed before Heaven and earth. It's the only real neutral party when it comes to humanity.
God is the one that made it a "horrible" place to be.

Heaven is a horrible place... A tyrannical god, angles that either hate you or could give less of a crap about you, and an eternity of ignorance and complacency. Also in my research the populace of Hell has had our backs more than that of heaven (I'm going to hell for that one). Think about it, what have angels done for humanity compared to what demons? Both offer inspiration, but angles limit that inspiration to their or God's "glory", demons offer up any information that you are willing to trade for. Understanding and knowledge seems to be the poison dagger in God's heart when it comes to humanity.
The most striking example is God telling Adam and Eve to stay away from the tree of knowledge...he's not a fan of knowledge is this god fellow...

How come God doesn't go to hell for his sins?
namely:
- kidnapping: Jonah and the whale
- Genocide: Sodom and Gomorrah
- Vanity: creating us in his image
- accessory to crimes: he created us, thus he should share responsibility for our wrongdoing
- arson: appearing as a burning bush to Moses
(I'm kidding God's alright...oh I am so damned...)
Because He would have to die first.

Peoples do me a favor... DO NOT LIVE A LIFE OF COMPLACENT MEDIOCRITY! DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING THAT WILL GET YOUR NAME INTO THE ANNALS OF HISTORY! Doing such is the only true "heavenly bliss", even if you go to Hell at least you will have a name that holds meaning. Accept nothing as it is, either start the revolution or be ready to march beside or behind it... for it is coming... and I'm pretty sure its not breathing hard.

If I'm correct (and I am), Christ taught forgiveness and peace as the most important aspects of ones life. So wouldn't it be safe to assume that no sin will get you into hell? Although I may be wrong on this, I've been taught the only requirement to get into heaven was the belief in god, but of course you get back to the forgiveness thing and you assume that those who don't believe also get into heaven, although I'd like to believe that people who belittle others faith without a full understanding of it (you know who I'm talking to) go to hell, but that would be a horrible double standard on my part.
Hmm common misunderstanding of God. We like to portray Him as this perfectly loving everything turns out okay no matter what kind of God. (because we like to feel good rather than convicted)
But rather He is a powerful just, and wrathful God who can not allow sin into heaven. Only way though to heaven is a faith+repentance of sin(not belief in God) that Jesus is the key to heaven.

Sorry to sound preachy.
Ever heard of the trinity? It's a christian concept that is infinitely complex despite sounding very simple. It basically states that Jesus is god, god is Jesus, and they are both something called the holy ghost (I still don't know what that is). so if Jesus says that you should turn the other cheek or, treat others as though they were yourself, you have to assume that god believes that as well. However should you be Jewish your absolutely correct, according to the Torah god is vengeful and cross, however, being a Christian a tend to follow the peaceful lesson Christ taught.

I could have simply said that I don't believe in god or hell, but instead i'll ask the religious believers a question, that I have genuinely wanted to know the answer to.

If the devil wants you to go to hell then why does he punish you for showing up?
Not only that but he's actually doing god's work for him, if he likes people sinning so much then why does he apparently go out of his way so that the more you sin the more you get punished, and that your punishment is relevant to your crime.
Surely thats what the angels should be doing?
Shouldn't the devil just be like; "glad to see you made the right choice by coming to hell and avoiding all the punishment god had lined up for you, have a beer."

Their are seven (one for each major sin) "devils" that have say on what goes one in hell. Lucifer punishes us, i theorize, because even though he was exiled form heaven he still holds nothing but total and absolute love and admiration towards God (the curse of all angels), so he punishes us because we fucked of what was stolen from him, a place at his FATHERS side. And beyond that why not be punished in Hell? If you end up their you must have done something to deserve it, and face ti WE ALL HAVE.

THat is powerful and wrathful but not just. "believe in me even though I haven't even given you a good reason to think I exist or burn"

Why should I be grouped up with people like sueng cho (and the devil has my permission to bone him in the eye sockets) for not believing in something with no evidence?? Do I go to hell for not believing you when you say Yahtzee isn't gonna make any videos for a month even though there's no reason to believe that?

well in my belief system any sin will send you to hell. Only faith in Christ can redeem you.
What if you sin more than 1000 people together, but have the strongest faith in the Christ?
Hell, what if Hitler had the strongest faith in Christ and repented for his crimes?
Basically, is it that easy to get to heaven?
Or. Is God not going to forgive him no matter what? In this case, it means that what you're saying about repentence and faith in Christ in order to go to heaven is a load of crap.
Hmm. well if you are truly saved you wont sin more than 1000 people together 1. because God will punish you(even kill you if you continue in sin IDR the exact verse though)2. It would pain you to sin (conviction).
And yes if Hitler had truly repented of his sins and placed faith in Christ he would go to heaven. Crazy isnt it.

I don't see a poll. And as far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as sin and no such thing as hell.

EDIT (for clarification): When I say I don't believe in sin I don't mean I don't believe that it's possible to do bad things, I just mean I don't believe in "sin" as religion teaches it to us.

If hell were real, I'd probably end up in purgatory anyway, for my painful indifference to the majority of things in the world. Unless that counts as a sin.

If there is such a thing 'hell', there are a few sins which should give you a one-way ticket to it. In my eyes, those are: stupidity, senseless killing, senseless hurting of people and animals and self-deceit.

In my opinion, the cardinal sins of (RC) christianity are, well, quite stupid, really. All of those are felt, done and used for (greater) good. Not to mention there's nothing seriously wrong with them in the first place.
