The Summer Gaming drought is almost here but Nintendo has sent two ofit's biggest hitters in the SUMMER!!!!!
so which will you get?

i loved super mario galaxy so this'll be the same but with more stuff.

Galaxy 2. I always found the new Metriod games to be slightly above average, where Galaxy is my favorite Wii game.

I live in the UK, SMG2 isn't out here yet. That being said Metroid doesn't interest me whereas I loved SMG1 so I'll go with that seeing that every review I've read says that it's "basically more of the same thing, not that that is a bad thing".

MG2 is the best game i've played all year (And YES i have played red dead). The amount of hours i've put into it already and still only on 90 stars (out of 240 apparently!).. This is one which will keep me going a LOOOONG time.

For comparision I completed red dead, with most the sidequests done - in the week i rented it. Thought it was quite average considering the ravin about it.

Not sure about "other m" depends totally on whether i finish mario by the time it comes out and what the review scores are like.

If you havent play SMG2 - you're missing out on quite possibly THE most hardcore game of this generation i've played so far.. And also the most enjoyable too!

If you've played it for 5 minutes and think it sucks - play it some more, there's lots to like.

If you've played it a lot and you dont like it still.. well your tastes suck, you're probably better off playing the latest carbon copy grey space marine shooting game.

Of those two, Metroid looks like the more interesting one to me. I probably won't be getting either though due to monetary constraints.

I'm so torn on other M.

Generally I have high hopes for it, and the gameplay they went with, but I fear that there might be too much melee and quick-timey finishing moves.

I need me some proper gameplay footage.

The new Metroid doesn't look too bad actually and I like that they flesh out Samus's character a bit.

I'll probably end up getting both of them eventually; there aren't all that many genuinely great Wii games out (in my opinion) that interest me, so I may as well get the few that do come out every so often. Mario Galaxy, though I did enjoy it, was a little disappointing for me back when it came out.. I hope the hype for MG2 is a little more deserved, though if it's not, I doubt I'll complain.
I don't know much about Metroid, but from what little I've seen, it looks pretty good to me!
To put it bluntly, I'm hoping for the best from both, but preparing to be underwhelmed.

the trilogy was great and i'm looking forward to Other M. not played Galaxy so not that fussed about Galaxy 2. even so, the new Zelda is my top priority

Other M sounds interesting, though I'll have to check out some reviews/gameplay videos before I decide whether or not to buy it.
