What about Hitler? Stalin? Mussolini? Genghis Khan? They're quite popular to hate, as far as I know.
They're hated for reasons beyond being popular to hate. FOX is pretty harmless, thus not worth hating.

And you immediately compared FOX News to Hitler. Your credibility plunged, Godwin strikes another gong, etc, etc.
I didn't compare Fox news to Hitler. It's just that you said you don't hate anything that popular to hate, so I said someone/something else that's popular to hate. You should of made your point a lot clearer in your post, instead of just saying:

On a less related note, you zoned in on Hitler pretty fast. It's okay to compare them to Stalin and Mussolini, but not Hitler?

I completely agree with that statement

Wow. That is some neat editing there. Actually, that's some darn good editing.

Look, I'm fine with some of fox news reporting. Yes, they have an obvious bias. So does EVERYTHING else. That said, I completely ignore their video game news group, which needs to get a new brain cell, their only one is wearing away fast.
Custer's Revenge was (thankfully) a LONG time ago. Let's move on, Fox video game division.
It's like Rush Limbaugh. He's not the devil people think he is, if you take the time to read his work, he is not nearly as crazy as EVERYTHING makes him out to be.
Fox isn't the best, but they are by far not the worst.
For any news outlet, you should double check stories. I trust very little without multiple sources, and I like comparing viewpoints between Fox, NBC, and CNN.

Ugh. Just opened myself to a shit storm here, didn't I?
At the risk of being shot at, tarred and feathered, and/or having a mortar strike called on me, I'm going to agree with you. On pretty much anything. I was going to make a post, but you completely ninja'd me on just about everything there.
Pretty much this. To both posters. Sure Fox News and Rush Limbaugh seem crazy (or everyone makes them out to be crazy), they aren't. I actually like what Rush has to say most of the time. I have a very good "sensationalism" sense, and as such I usually avoid the other guys who air on the same radio channel that Rush does. However, most of those guys are pretty smart, and actually have good things to say. Like that Sean Hannity guy. He and Rush Limbaugh are two of the best political commentators I've ever heard, and the two who spew the least over-the-top, sensationalist mumbo-jumbo. Sometimes they get carried away and start talking about things they don't know about (like videogames), but most of the time the talk about what they know, and it makes for good radio.

To me, it's a damn shame that such intellect is wasted on a news station that puts out sensationalist garbage almost daily.

Hitler is overused in comparisons for things you don't like, invokes colloquial Godwin's Law, etc.

I don't care for them. I don't care for them at all. I would like to rename the show to Faux News and then move on with my life.

As a somewhat conservative individual, I tend to not align myself with the "Fox News Conservatives" because they are wrong on some things, but who's to say that all political stations don't? If I remember correctly, they were the only ones to report that thing at ACORN. You may not like them, but instead of whining about it maybe you just shouldn't watch it, its not like anyone is forcing you to listen to/watch them.

While Fox news isn't the fair and biased land of magic and wonder it claims to be, it isn't the worst thing out there. Fox defends its claims stronger than any other station I can find, but they also build a stronger rhetorical argument. The liberal networks simply point out the holes in Fox's logic. So while the conservative theories raised by Fox are never airtight, it's still better than most other networks.

That being said, I get my news from the BBC, Washington Post, New York Times, Rush Limbaugh, NPR, Fox News, CNN, etc.

Or did you expect me to search out and read all your other posts on the subject? Because I'm lazy and don't feel like doing that.

They do more harm than good, shut it down and let people watch news from a better place.

I'm talking in the video game to everything else perspective by the way, wouldn't it be nice if they stopped attacking the medium?

And I know science doesn't have all the answers, that's not what I'm saying - I'm saying, his reasoning of, "it doesn't have all the answers, so I'm just going to accept the default option, and nevermind the fact I don't even know other planets have moons," is ridiculous.
I don't think you picked-up what I was saying before; Reilly isn't saying "everyone should believe in God", he's just explaining why he believes in God.

Also, not knowing other planets have moons is pretty weird. But hey, no one ever said he was a brilliant astronomer. If my memory serves, Sherlock Holmes didn't know anything about space either... just saying.
You don't need to be a brilliant astronomer, any 6-year-old could tell you that other planets have moons - and you'd expect him to have that basic knowledge before making a video about how Earth must have been made by God, since we're the only planet to have a moon.

Sherlock Holmes wasn't a real person, nor was he talking to millions of people each day.
I didn't say he had the basic education of a 6-year-old, either. Mr. Assume-everything-that-the-other-side-says-for-the-sake-of-his-own-argument Pants. ;)

Also I know the Sherlock wasn't really a good point, which is why I was JUST SAYING.

They are a perfect example of 'Yellow Journalism', almost all of their news reports use a large shocking headline (e.g Bulletstorm causes rape (or something to that effect)) to attract viewers and most of the actual content includes no merit what-so-ever. I hope to be a journalist in a few years and they represent a side of my dream job that I want to avoid as much as I can.

You want to be a journalist and avoid alarmism/sensationalism? Excuse me while I go laugh.

Are you joking? The Escapist ran a story not a week ago about the US "blowing up the international space station", when it was just about an inflatable station. Everyone is guilty. Everyone.

You said you don't hate things that are popular to hate, he said Hitler is popular to hate. If you do hate Hitler then your previous statement about yourself is inaccurate. He's not relating Fox news to Hitler in the way you think he is.

Fox news and their followers have the combined intelligence of a pile of shit that has been trampled on by an elephant, and that is a FACT(see what I did there? No evidence, but I believe it to be true, so that's good enough right?) They are racist as hell, their shows are a mix of Lifetime and a Michael Bay movie. They take something normal, make it the end of the world, blame anyone that isin't a white republican and have so called "experts" in to "prove" that is was the fault of who they said it was.

By posts, I meant the small two I wrote. My main point is not the person in the slightest, but the idea of refusing to hate popular things, that you've since rescinded. Thank you.

Thing is, it's their juicy late-nite stories at 11 or whatever is that are filled with the bullshit as far as I'm concerned. Their morning news is just standard informative neutral news that I expect from all stations all the time, if I remember correctly from when I regularly watched news. It's at around primetime when the crazies come out, I think
