Poll: FPS or RPG?

But seriously i like FPS's

I consider them to be on-par frankly. But generally speaking I end up playing more RPG's than shooters because, frankly, RPG's that look worth playing have been coming out more often than shooters I consider worth playing as of late.

So, RPG's then.

We don't like all caps much though, even for the purposes of sarcastic humour. Contrary to popular belief, it's not cruise control for cool.

OT: I play both fairly equally and it largely depends on my mood, so I kinda wish there was a poll option for that.
I don't see the purpose of choosing between them because it's a little like asking if I prefer chair or bread, sometimes I'd like to sit down, sometimes I'd like to have a sandwich that didn't taste like somebody sat on it.

Then again the lines are becoming quite blurry for these genres. Plenty of FPSs include RPG elements, and vice versa. And why not? Let's have a big bowl of genres crammed onto a disc.

FPS games with RPG elements, yay.

FPS's are basically pick-up-and-play. Best for a quick fix or a gaming session with friends.

RPG's are much more in depth, and though they require both time and patience, the character development is much vaster, you feel more immersed and the whole gaming experience is more fulfilling.

I have time and patience, so I pick RPG's

We as a community simply do not appreciate bad grammar and over/underusage of capital letters. We hope you enjoy your stay but if you cannot adhere to these, well not rules, suggestions then perhaps this community might not be down your street.

I like both, but I always seem to have more fun playing an RPG so that's what I chose. Even if I play more FPS games because I suck at RPG's
