Okay before your minds flashback to some weird(And or disturping) picture you prolly saw on the interwebs let me clarify. Lets say you're getting frisky with ones self or with someone else. Your pet cat/dog/platypus/whatever is in the room. Do you throw them out before hand(bu dum tish) or do you just not care?

Just think of this as conturbution to the weird threads floating around here. And a not so serious thread.

If you don't have a pet just pretend.

My dog was on the bed once (at the end) with me and my girlfriend. It wasn't so much odd as it was inconvenient. But when she decides she's gonna rest somewhere, nothing makes her move, so we had to deal.

I ummmm... don't really get into situations like that, can there be a poll option for people like me?

When I had the cat, she liked to jump on the bed. She would do that with her claws out. You really only need to have your boobs clawed once before you start checking the room and closing the door. I don't have any pets now, so that doesn't apply.

I move the animal mostly because I don't necessarily know how they will react. A male dog may not appreciate my interaction with a female friend for example.

In that case, I would get them the hell out. Innocence protection!

If the dog is in the room: "Hey, am I doing this right?" *Idiotic giggle* Nah, it weirds me out for some reason. Out they go. Plus they might get... upset. My dog freaks when I hug people.

I had my dog walk in on me with a girl...and to this day I'm kicking myself for not thinking until after the fact to say "your species invented this position. Good call on that."

It does concern me, a lot.

But the dog helps considerably with the getting the girl to the bed, so as long as it's a mere 'frisky' and not 'awesome!', I'll be fine.

I couldn't care less if my dogs watch me have sex. What they're doing is really not my concern at that particular moment.

It does however, slightly creep me out if they stare at me while I'm "alone," so to speak.

Is that strange?

I have a maine coone. A large breed of cat that is well known for not only being extremely curious and wanting to see what their owners are doing at all times but also like to help out when they can.
Really not the type of animal I want around when Im giving little Jesus his 40 lashings.

Of course, if I ever have a difficult to please girlfriend then perhaps he could be useful while I catch some Zs.[footnote]Yes yes, I know I am going to hell for that comment but as I was going there anyway why the smeg not.
I have a Maine! Mine is an orange tabby and he's very curious but when my cat tries to "help" he ends up breaking things which has cost me a lot of money recently. (He knocked a glass of water over spilling it all over my blu-ray player)

My cat decided he wanted to join in. I threw him out but he kept scratching at the door, so he opened it, when he then decided to climb on my back.
Bloody creature >_<

Used to have sex with my (now ex)girlfriend over at her place. Her mom lived there too and she was kind of a cat lady. They would stare at us in the creepiest manner. My gf liked it, but I found it unsettling. We didn't do it at her place much. >.<

Then we stopped doing it much at all. Then we broke up, I moved to Portland and had my first three way. AWESOME TIMES.

I've been in a situation where pets have had to be removed from the room. Far from killing the mood, chasing 2 kittens around (and under!) the bed made us laugh so much, thus relaxing us more, made it all the better when we finally got them out!

Also, a mate of mine who I wont name, once had his cat jump up on the bed at the worst possible moment leading to the mother of all QOTD's - "Shit! I got spunk on the cat!"

I'd say yes, get them out simply because there's no way a (free-roaming) pet will just settle for obervation! Don't get me wrong - I love animals, just not THAT much!

Animals, pets or not, have no business being in the bedroom in the first place, so I don't understand the question.

Seriously, I think people letting their pets run freely around the house are weaklings doing both themselves and their pets a disservice by failing to take control and set boundaries.
