Definitely the 4th one, the song is really awesome and it sticks with me a lot more than the others.[footnote]I could barely remember the others and had to watch them again to remember what they were like.[/footnote] The visuals with Pride are really cool too. The first one is probably my second favourite, the song is great and I love the little fight scene with Envy and Gluttony. I really dislike the 3rd one because of the song.
For me it's always been Golden Time Lover (3rd), I was listening to the full version of the song a few minutes ago in fact.
Why this one? Firstly out of the time it's always the one I hum the most often, as it's quite a unique sounding song with quicker paced lyrics. But most importantly, it introduced Olivier Armstrong...

Golden Time Lover fucking owned, especially after the 2nd OP sucking so bad. Best ending is Scandal's Shunkan Sentimental by far:

Of course, the first time I saw it was made better because Adult Swim skipped over the pesky verse and jumped straight into the awesome chorus which just makes the theme.

I liked Hologram the best because of the track and the scenes, like Lust charging out of Mustang's flames and Wrath fighting the Xingese. That rocked.
I always preferred Rain, especially how it gets worked in during the final couple episodes.

As for me, I think that Again, Period and Rain just completely knocked the ball out of the park.
Again was a fucking great song, but Golden Time Lover has the advantage of playing over the best opening in terms of animation. Plus, it's just awesomely fast and sort of funky. Rain was very good as well though. It seemed to fit that point in the series tonally more than the others. Period is definitely the weakest.
Period (4) arguably had the catchiest song on the list, one that I can never get tired of. The intro visuals were also very dynamic and fun to watch (particularly the Greed vs. Wrath/Envy vs. Ninjas).
However, Rain (5) was also very emotionally fitting for the final episodes, and felt like it had more depth. The darker visuals pulled at the heartstrings.
I'd call it a tie.

First one gets my vote simply because the song is my favorite.
Although I do prefer the later openings without the songs just cuz of the badass action taking place.

Again (Intro 1) was awesome. Could be considered "classic" if it wasn't so new. Due time, due time. Hologram (Intro 2) was pretty cool. I rather miss those more lighthearted intros. Golden Time Lover (Intro 3)? UGH! I hated that one so much! That had to be the worst animé intro I'd ever seen up until watching Hellsing. It was so boring, and as soon as it started to pick up, it just got cut off with some extremely lazy editing. Period. Oh... my... word. They totally made up for that last one. The fourth intro was the very first animé intro I ever saw to make me suddenly rewind it a moment after it started in a frantic state of "Waitwaitwaitholdon! Startovercauseiwasnotreadyyet!" Not often does an animé intro leave me gaping in awe like that. The only other two I can think of that did that were the first intros to both Soul Eater and Attack on Titan. Oh, that last one. Rain (Intro 5)? I don't even remember what that one was like. I think it was kind of soft, but that's all I can recall. I was rather disappointed to see that last one go.
I love FMA Brotherhood. Definitely my favorite anime. Its hard for me to choose a favorite opening so that's what I chose in the poll. But If you help me at gun point I would say my favorite opening is the 4th one "Period" and while we're at it my favorite closing is the 4th one as well "Sentimental".
Opening 1 and 2. The ending I liked best was 'let it out' by Miho Fukuhara, don't remember the number exactly.
I really love Again and Rain. Again was perfect to start the series and Rain was perfect to end it.
