From just reading that and hearing about it on the radio, I'd say cruel. The thing was doing the Donkey equivalent to shrieking in fear and so it isn't funny... Though I haven't seen the pictures... yet...

The poor donkey was probably be terrified. Then again, it's one of the few donkeys which will ever get to fly. Definitely cruel, and very distressing for the animal involved, but then again...it's still kind of hilarious.

that was unbelivably cruel, the donkey was terrified and they only did it to advirtise something, plus it was pulled onto the shore half-alive. I hope these people get charged with animal cruelty for this, i don't care if they thought it was funny or not, thats just cruel.
