RNV has a better host, but GNR ties more into what you do out in the wasteland, so my vote goes to it.

Like others have said, I liked Three Dog better than Mister New Vegas, but prefer Radio New Vegas because the music is way better. To this day I will catch myself humming Jingle Jangle Jingle or Heartaches by the Number. I can barely even remember a lot of Fallout 3's tunes. That says it all for me.

i don't know about any of you but by far my favorite radio station would have to be Black mountain radio! so much so that i can never bring myself to getting rid of it.

GNR. Three Dog. All you need to know.

... That, and Mr. New Vegas lacked a bit of personality. Three Dog was someone you could remember. Hell, you even got to meet him during the main quest line.

Also, this may be a bit of unfair bias, but there was a glitch that lowered the volume of the music for all of the songs and all of the radios. The announcers were all fine mind you, but after putting my ear against the speaker, trying to figure out what song was playing, then have Mr. New Vegas blasting into my ears was pretty damn annoying.

Of course, glitch or not, neither GNR or Radio New Vegas could top Black Mountain Radio. That was just... that was just amazing. Such a shame that the frequency didn't go so far. :(

Neither, I rarely listened to the radio in either. Three Dog gets credit for being violently murderable and edible if you find him to be the most obnoxious person in the entire game. As I did.

Neither of them were very good. They had too few songs, so you just heard the same ones over and over. But Galaxy News Radio had the more annoying host. I mainly just turned off the radio and listened to my own era/setting-appropriate song, since I have a lot of them. I made a playlist to listen to while playing New Vegas.

That "Jingle Jangle Jingle" song gets randomly stuck in my head all the freaking time, by the way.
This was my main problem with the radio stations. They only had a handful of songs on an infinite loop for a 20+ hour game. At least with games like Saints Row and Grand Theft Auto, we had some variety. I can understand the reasoning mind you, but it still makes the radio stations feel somewhat pointless.

I've never had that problem, since I got mods for both games that added about a hundred songs to the playlist of both stations. It's the reason I didn't answer.

What's up wastelanders?

In my opinion Three Dog was a better radio personality. Mr New Vegas was alright, but he was no Three Dog.

I liked the music in New Vegas more (well some of it and I can't remember which station it was on) but I think the GNR music suited the game more and added to the atmosphere better than New Vegas's.

Can't beat the Enclave radio though. I don't care that it was all patriotic garbage, Malcolm McDowell's voice is just so soothing.

I'm gonna call the music about equal, but say GNR because I find Three Dog to be funny and cool.

I prefer RNV, if only because I played Fallout 3 so much that Three Dog became annoying, and I've heard all the songs so much.

Cause 1 isn't enough. And two is too low. It's THREE DOG! Is there really any need for a debate here? Three Dog had personality and humor. I was always bored listening to Mr. New Vegas and is light monotone. But everyone has a point, too few songs repeated ad infinitum.

Eh, I didn't really like either, 3 Dog was obnoxious and Mr New Vegas is creepy. I can't remember the songs of Fallout 3, I mainly listened to my own music in that. For New Vegas, I wasn't a huge fan of the music, but it was okay. I like Big Iron the best.

Anyway, when I had the option I always listened to Black Mountain Radio, I liked the little clues about Tabitha and Rhonda's true nature, but if I couldn't listen to that I went for Mojave Music Radio, cut out the chat host bullshit.

Edit: Oh, I just remembered, in Fallout 3 I actually listened to the Enclave radio the most. The super-patriotic spirit-of-'Merica stuff was quite funny, and it's my kind of music. Well, that's not true, but it's enjoyable music I find.

Black Mountain Radio, anyone?
I much preferred Tabitha and Rhonda to Three Dog and Mr New Vegas.

I also quite liked the old lady who replaces Three Dog if you killed him.
