Poll: Game genre that needs the NEXT BIG GAME.

RTS/FPS hybrids. Do it.

There's actually a new game coming out pretty soon, called "Nuclear Dawn" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_Dawn). I vaguely remember seeing some gameplay from it, but can't guarantee its quality. Anyway, check it out, it might interest you.

There's gameplay videos on it? I think the only thing they've released to the public are pictures and a trailer that doesn't show any actual gameplay.

Yeah, you're right. The trailer I was referring to just has a few glimpses of actual gameplay. Must've mixed it up. Anyway, the game looks rather interesting, although, of course, nothing solid can be said until its release.

I'm hopeing brink will be the next best thing. It looks awesome but you know what they say about expectations. That would make me be rooting for a fps so sew me.

Space sim. Absolutely space sim. This doesn't just need a new big game, it just needs ANY game: the genre is totally dead, which is a crying shame as there are so many fantastic games in it.

JRPGs have the next big thing and it's going unoticed. It's called Resonance of Fate and it's wonderful.

As for what really needs the next big thing, Metal Gear is pretty much over. Stealth needs a new a head.
