Poll: Game Genres You Don't Play

Ok I'm interested to know about any game genre's people just won't play, be it from a lack of interest, bad experience etc, etc. Vote away and speak your mind!

I'll go first I really have never enjoyed football (soccer) games and as a rule avoid sport games like they have the plague!

Sports games. The last sports game I played was NBA Jam for the SNES. My reasoning is that if I'm interested in a sport, I'll either watch a televised game or physically play it myself.

I also have an aversion to most music games for similar reasons. If I want to play a musical instrument, I'd rather try out the real thing instead of a plastic imitation. It probably doesn't help that I'm no good at most of the peripheral controllers. I do play Audiosurf and Beat Hazard, though.

Music games: I already play an instrument for Marching Band, why would I want to take a break from walking in circles for an hour by hitting colored buttons?

I don't ever play sports games, nor puzzle games (adventure games are different I guess?).

I'll pretty much play any game if it's good though.

I recently fell out of MMORPG's just after i realised i wasnt enjoying the game itself.

I look at sports games as if they were a developer made mod of last years game.

Racing games never managed to hold onto my attention.

Music and rhythm games always seemed like a highly complex button mashing sequence that came with overlarge and overpriced peripherals.

MvC3 sucked me right back into fighting games otherwise i would say those too. Which reminds me to say you need to add an option for fighting games.

I say sports games. Though I still enjoy The Bigs quite a bit. There really isn't an entire genre I don't play.

Usually don't play sports games like Fifa or Pro Evo, but seeing as it's what most of my friends mainly play I'll give them a go every now and then.

No shooters, sports games or simulations for me, for various reasons. Team Fortress 2 is the only exception. I put "Other" because I couldn't decide on just one, and "shooter" isn't on the list.

I voted for simulation because I don't think I've ever even touched one of those, but I really don't play sport or racing games either. Burnout is an exception, as well as Starcraft II if you're into esports.

I admit an FPS needs to be awesome for me to play it, and by awesome, I mean above and beyond standard FPS fare. I have a dislike for them because I see most as being lazy design due to the first person aspect. Realistically if I tilt the camera down to look at my feet in the first person they SHOULD be there. Same for mirrors. I might be wrong but I just can't help but see the first person POV as an excuse not to model out and/or animate the main character.

I did play Bioshock BTW, Although I dislike FPSs, I try to give them a chance every now and then.
