Blackfyres - Bastard branch of the Targaryan. Named for the badass sword Aegon the conqueror carried which was given to Daemon Blackfyre (who despite being a bastard was born of two Targ parents), his brother Bittersteel formed the Golden Company, the most professional and well organised mercenary company in their world.
That Aegon "Mummer's dragon" Targarayn is actually a blackfyre and not Rhaegar's true son
Because of my ending theory I will say my favourite house is Baratheon
It's a shame they could not fight stronger under one banner from the start
That and I found Renly a great character too, naive but great.
there are multiple tie-ins also related to my ending theory so my second favourite house would be either stark or lannister, for tyrion and bran are also hugely important.
