Alright, so anyone who's been keeping up with the Song of Ice and Fire book series or the TV adaptation probably knows that things aren't going well for Westeros right now. Civil war is tearing apart the nation, and now there are five different kings (and one queen who isn't part of the war yet) going around and declaring themselves to be the true rulers. So the real question is: which do you like the most? Will it be the honorable Starks, the puritanical Stannis, the spiteful Greyjoys, the beloved but mostly useless Renly, the sadistic and evil Joffrey, or Daenerys, the resident "Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-War"?
Keep in mind that this is whichever king you think would be the best for the job or you personally like the most, not necessarily the most successful in the books themselves. If you want to pick a king that gets killed off early on than feel free, this is all about how you think they would do as the person sitting on the Iron Throne.
Personally, I find Robb Stark to be the most likable and admirable of the different factions in the civil war, simply because he's just so damned brave, kind, and honorable to others (even if that doesn't always work in his favor).
Out of all the different kings vying for the Iron Throne, however, I'll have to go with Stannis, due to his sheer, implacable determination. The man is simply unstoppable: it doesn't matter to him that he has the smallest army, the least popular support, and the fewest allies because by all laws and rights he IS king- and he's not about to let anyone take that away from him. He's faced with constant setbacks and disasters, the people he trusts betray and leave him, he's forced into defeat and retreat and humiliation but he never let's any of that stop him. He doesn't even particularly want to be king, but to him it isn't a matter of what he wants: he is Robert's only true-born heir, and he must become king or die trying.
