I have to say beating Devil May Cry 3 (Regular Edition) made me feel the most accomplished upon completion. It was so frustrating to get through it. There were some kind of issues with the difficulties so apparently Easy mode was really Hard? Difficult game.

Perfecting Wind Waker. I got every god damn figurine for the Nintendo gallery. In fact, the first time I did it, I missed just one, that I could never get again. so I had to do the whole damn thing again. But I fucking did it.

Beating Mother 3 was just a great experience for me.
I really felt like I got something out of that game, and I took a bit of the experience with me.

I think getting everything in Majora's Mask did it for me as well. I only missed one heart piece and never got around to getting it.

Edit: And beating it with only three hearts

Call of Duty 4 singleplayer campaign on veteran. I started it at Veteran, never played at lower difficulty. Also Hitman: Blood Money, it had a sneaky influence of good feeling towards me. Wait wha...?

Gotta convince my girlfriend and female friends to play strip poker. That might make me feel like i'm accomplishing something.

But yeah, video-games do that sometimes too.

Completing San Andreas fully was quite good. Mainly because I did every side mission, collected all the collectibles, and completed flight school. My nemesis.

I felt very warm and fuzzy inside when I could beat Street Fighter 4's arcade mode with one hand tied behind my back using Fei Long while dealing with that awful 360 D-pad. (Which isn't much of a problem if you practice with it, the D-pad I mean.)

I felt pretty smart when I beat Scott Adams's Adventureland. I haven't felt so smrt since, though.

Beating Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped with every single Gem and Relic and getting the 105% Completion. The feeling accomplished part was the fact that I got platinum relics for every time trial. All 32 of those relics were platinum...

Also beating Crash Bandicoot 2 with every Gem was tricky.

I'm not sure if it constitutes a feeling of accomplishment, but beating Call of Duty 4 was one of the most satisfying things I've done with a video game.

There've certainly been many games that made me feel accomplished, of many genres. The last one I can think of is God Hand...on Easy mode, granted, but Normal became less a "fight for survival enemy to enemy" and more a "let the enemy kill me when the difficulty gets too high and my health is too low" sitation. I don't think Hard mode will make me feel accomplished, because I can't imagine it taking me less than half a year to do such a thing, and thus I'm likely to give up.

Easy was Normal, Normal was Hard, Hard was the hitherto-unknown Very Hard. Only Dante Must Die and Heaven or Hell were unchanged.

I will feel really accomplished as soon as I finish Dante Must Die. Finishing the last battle is just in my reach, as soon as I find a way to damage that SOB faster than he regenerates during the "go nuts" phases he has at around 1/4 health.

I hear so many different variations on how the modes work >< At any rate.. for the longest time I got stuck on the battle with Vergil on mission 7 I think? When I finally went back to it and got past that... I felt so silly having not being able to beat it.
