Poll: Games That You Love But Your Friends Hate

For christmas my friends got xbox 360s and we were talking about them when I told them that they should check out Crackdown,Viva Pinata and Lego Batman. and the bastards just said no, because they think they are shit games. I couldn't believe it, in the past year I have had over £1k worth of games (based on an average of £34.99) and have seen so many reviews and have been playing games since my third birthday (I picked up a Gameboy knock-off and then got my own) and have extremely high expectations to video games and these people who have only played Gameboy and Flash games have said that. I mean they are very judgemental people but still has this ever happened to you where a friend/s has said that a game looks shit and so wouldn't play it even though you know it is really awesome?

They wouldn't play Crackdown then its time to get new friends. If their judgement is that bad then what are they wrong about in other things.

I can see saying no to Viva Pinata, on the basis it's a (very well-done) Pokemon clone, but saying Crackdown and Lego Batman suck?

Some of my friends talk like I'm not a real gamer because all the games I like are new(ish). Because I never played Sonic or Kirby I'm somehow a fraud?

Mass Effect FTW

I played Sonic and Kirby. Very fun, but no gods among games.

Ironically, Mass Effect was one of those games that my friends had no idea why I found entertaining but I LOVED it. That and Chromehounds.

I play all sorts but my friends seem to enjoy the same stuff. We do have disagreements about Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and Call of Duty 5 though. Guess it's the FPS genre in itself really.

But we do all agree that Viva Pinata is dangerously addictive. No-one mistake that for fun.

Clive Barker's Jericho...I like it...
Any time I play a JRPG my message box is suddenly full of "WTF?"
And then there's Puzzle Quest...I hate being dissed for that.

Still, they don't dis me for playing Pokemon Diamond. Because it rocks. And the show sucks.

And on the games I think are crap but they want me to love side of things is...Resident Evil 5 Demo and RE4 itself.
