Still love them though.

Same here. I can destroy multiple Supreme AI's in SupCom, but I get steam rolled by human players.


The only game i've ever genuinely sucked balls at was CSS.... which is odd cus FPS's are "my thing", going from being in the global top 10 kills per hour in UT3 and having a 4/1KDR in BF2 to repeatedly getting my balls handed to me before I could get a shot off almost destroyed online gaming for me. I kept digging though and eventually got to the point where I could be even on kills/deaths, but that was the best I could manage.

Actually, funny story about World in Conflict.

I'm actually pretty good at the game online.
Granted the last time I played was when the beta for the game came out 3 or so years ago... but I still did pretty damn good, as soon as I found out my perfect strategy: make tanks, stand back while allies go in. If they die, go in and clean up what they left over, if they win, go "yay"

Go play Soul Caliber...I'm sure you'll find it much easier on your poor widdle thumbs.

Played the second one and had the same problems. I just suck at fighting games (not that they're particularly newbie-freindly in the first place).

Yeah, I can see that happening. I was really bad at fighting games until I got Mortal Kombat 2 and just played and played and played. I've since moved on to much better fighting games.

It's weird that i can play Mozart on my double bass like it's nothing, but i can't get above a 65% when fighting lou the devil in guitar hero.

Same here except for me I would add, any highly competitive genre online... I suck at. Do not get me wrong I have been playing video games for a decade and a half, but I am just not competitive enough to stick in with the "L337" gamers of the world. And when I say every genre I mean pretty much all genres.

IE:
In MMOS, I enjoy playing with groups of people that I become regulars with but I can never reach "Raid" status or the equivalent in any MMOs.

In shooters I usually am in the bottom-middle list of k/d ratios and I prefer shooters where its you and some players vs. hordes of computer sims.

In RTS games I prefer quarky custom games or comp stomps over getting raped by people who drop siege tanks in my base when I am just establishing a perimeter.

I do not play any musical instruments, but I know my brother says he just cannot play guitars in any of the hero/rock band type games. He does pretty good on the drums but trying to figure out how to play a fake guitar just makes him actually go play his guitar.

RTSs. Mainly Starcraft. Though that's not really me sucking more than it is the computer hating my guts and ZERG RUSH KEKEKEKEKEKEing 15 seconds into any game I play.
And console shooters. God I suck at those.

Guitar Hero, my hands just don't work that way.
I'm grand on real guitar though.

I'm sorta the same. I can play on medium, but when I get to hard I'm like, "Wtf, I don't have 5 fingers available, so why are there 5 buttons?" And I can shift my hand around fine when playing real guitar, so I don't know why I'm so bad at it on Guitar Hero.

possibly because you are used to hitting a lot of notes compared to the same 4 or 5.

I suck at everything sincei keep switching around and moving i can never just play 1 genre.

Most online shooters. Especially L4D1+2. Especially as the infected.

Still fun when you do get a successful pounce/choke/puke/punch.
