It depends on the game... Run 'n' gun games are fine, but anything where you have to think about what you're doing is not so great. It's not much worse, but it's still noticeable (sp?).

I think a fourth option "It depends on the illness" option should be there. Because projectile vomiting does definately throw me off my game.

In a game like COD I can't play for shit if I'm sick, however, a nice and relaxed game like SKATE or Oblivion are doable, maybe Fallout 3.

If I'm not at school because I'm sick, if I'm caught playing a game I'll most likely be sent back to school as is.

Though I do believe I've played a few Smash Bros rounds with my brother late at night while in a mania. I felt really weird and jumpy.

Guess I've got 'uber-leet-gaming-senses' then. Every time I'm sick, I do what I'd do when I normally have nothing else to do: Play video games. It works quite well to pass the time.

when I stay home from school sick my mom doesn't let me play video games because she doesn't liek the fact that I'm getting a double deal out of being sick. No school and gaming all day, she makes me lie in bed miserable no matter what the sickness.

Depends on the game, I suppose?... If it's a game which requires particular energy, then it's out of the window, I suppose. I'm probably limited to platformers which don't require much mental stress. But more often, I just lie in bed and groan internally if I'm really ill.

Sure I'll play, actually, I'm sick right now, and I've been playing a few hours today, but it does still depends on the game, i can't play FPS's or fast games if i got a massiv headache, and I'm not good at RTS if i got a massive stomicach.

My previous flu (not my most recent, but the one before it) was about the time The Darkness came out. So a good 2 years ago. I had recently purchased it for a song, and came down with a naaaasty flu that evening. It lasted for a week; the flu, AND the game. I spent most all of my sick time sitting in my gaming chair playing The Darkness while in a fevered state.

I love The Darkness. I dunno if it was enhanced by my condition, or if I was numbed by it (which means it's even better when you're not ill). Some parts were almost to much to handle ill. And I dunno if my being sick and gaming rather than resting made it harder to recover. But it did take a week (7 days) to recover. So that may be something.

Pretty much what everyone else said.

If I have like a cold or am starting to feel down I'll keep playing, but if we're talking the flu or mono I'm out and I'll be dead in bed for the next week or two if anyone NEEDS me.

When I get sick I get super sick.

I just play different games - a lot more single player and a lot more handheld when I'm sick.

I still play games sometimes. It's depends on what I'm sick with. Sometimes, looking at TVs and computers makes me feel worse and makes me want to throw up. xD
This. I was sick last week and thought : Sweet, I'll get on the PS360. But I just ended up with a monumental headwrong.
