There should be an option "depends how sick I am". If I'm very sick, I can't even really manage it to the computer.

Everything inFLUences you while you're gaming imo. If you're tired, ill or just not in the mood your gameplay and enjoyment of the videogame itself will be affected in a negative way

I don't know I feel like I can't really enjoy a game when I'm sick. I mostly just want to curl up on the couch or bed and watch tv.

If I'm sick enough to stay home, it usually means I'm too sick to actually do anything else.
Usually the last two days of staying home "sick" will envolve some gaming.

Sometimes. Right now, I'm only browsing the net (yeah, I'm sick - stomach virus or something like that), because I'm not in the mood to play. But if I do, I usually get my gamepad and play something on my PC. Assassin's Creed or Prototype or something like that.

Depends. I was stuck in my dorm with the swine flu about a week ago, and it was a complete mindwipe. Thus, I could play Diablo just fine (see enemy, click on enemy, kill enemy) but Indigo Prophecy almost made my brain explode. I also played through a crazy plot twist in FFVII while I was drugged up from getting my wisdom teeth removed. Yeah, I was confused as heck next time I loaded up my game.

Yeah I think playing while sick is great, although it's got to be in bed. Don't think I'd like being hunched over my PC grinding away at something whilst feeling ill.

I completed GTAIV whilst off from work with pnuemonia for 2 weeks....it hurt, but Nico's slavic remarks got me through it!!!

depends on the game... playing anything that requires too much twitch response is a bad thing when i'm sick as I tend to be a bit... fuzzy headed and kinda slower than normal reaction time... turn based strategy is fine though...

I can play games just as well when I'm sick as when I'm healthy. The only problem is that I have to sneeze and blow my nose quite often then.

I'm rarely sick though, and when I actually do get sick, it's usually just for a day or two.

I don't get sick much. In fact, when I was younger I used to get "sick" just because I got a new game or something.

When I got back from the hospital after an appendectomy, I literally gamed for nearly a week straight. I didn't have any regular illness symptoms, just the inability to bend my torso and the incessant fear of my guts slipping out of the hole in my ab muscles. Amaaazziinngg painkillers- I played so much Starcraft that week.

I'm currently down with a pretty severe bug and what am I doing? Playing games.

The day I'm too sick to play games is the day I die!

My dad is very religious and very nuts and very old-fashioned and doesn't like me much because I'm an atheist, and a modern one at that.

When I'm well it's, "Grumblegrumble, ComputeStationBoxes are bad for your soul!" and when I'm ill it's, "If you're too ill to go to a rugby match/school, you're too ill to play the Xbox." Right... So because I can't get up at seven and spend a day in a cold set of rooms, awake, thinking, working and walking, then sepending an hour in the rain running up and down a field in the mud hitting people for a bit of leather that I don't want, I can't sit down and wiggle my fingers?

Gaming while ill is a no-go for me.
Feels like my mom. If I were to sit in a chair clicking a mouse and mashing keys without anything in front of me she wouldn't care, but as soon as a monitor is in front of me it is "ruining my life"

Also, I lose my reflexes when I'm sick, so usually I might play a strategy for a bit.
