Cancer of the mouth, on the other hand, is not.

Hence, people tend to view chew in a more derisive light.

Edit: Afterthought a lot of cops use dip because unlike smoking it's harder for them to get in trouble doing it on the job. I hate riding or working with them.

I know quite a few people who 'dip' Im in my early 20s and live in NJ right by NYC.

for those who dont know 'dip' is a form of long cut tobacco that is placed between the lower lip and gums, the nicoteine goes straight into your blood and gives you a big rush.

I am not a smoker but have dipped a couple of times when drunk and the rush is incredible (although a little nauseating). I imagine the rush would be OK while gaming for the concentration boost but having to constantly spit out the vile saliva that builds up would not be ideal.

to smokers. If your desperate to get your fix while gaming then you may want to try it.

Also I beleive chewing tobacco is Illegal in the UK and so I wouldnt advise it (plus the chances of mouth or gum cancer are worse than smoking for lung cancer)

I have tried it a couple of times and it gave the most incredible head rush ever, never again I think. From what I have seen I think the dipping in the younger generation stays with the baseball players and outdoorsy people.

Smoking is nasty, and chew is even more repulsive because you have to regularly spit either in a cup/spittoon or all over the ground. I'm probably in a minority here since I never have and never will smoke or drink alcohol.
