Poll: Gears of War or Halo or Resistance or Killzone 2? Which do you prefer?

I thing Gears wins. Resistance was dull in my opinion, and I haven't been impressed by K2 from what I've seen of it. Halo is really a one-trick pony. Gears has horde mode, which is fun when you get a bunch of friends together, and the gameplay is solid. Also, it seems to be the most imaginative of the bunch in terms of environments.

Well, to keep from not having any discussion.. Out of all of these I enjoyed Gears the most, despite at the time the multiplayer was very buggy when I was actively playing. Horde mode with a bunch of friends was extremely fun and split screen online play was a massive bonus in my eyes, more games need that.

I enjoyed resistance, but i had considerably more fun with gears. Halo was bland.

Versus threads are against the rules, but fortunatley there doesn't appear to be angry backing and forthing of flame yet so I'm not going to judge.

Anyway, Halo. All the way is Halo for me, I'm a massive fan and I always have been and odds are I always will be.

Halo multiplayer easily. Splitscreen online is one of it's biggest boons, however others on that list have it, however halo just does it so well. It's bright and colourful and fun but not silly. It also has forge and theatre modes which not many games do, and although I haven't played resistance 2's multiplayer very much, I don't think any of the others have it.

Campaign wise, I would actually resistance 2 for the sheer spectacle of some of the fights, whilst not being stupidly gory like GoW or just bland and boring like killzone.

My least favourite in all respects is killzone; an atrociously boring and pointless game that shouldn't have been made imo.

Anyway:
Halo: Fun for a bit, but bland and not quite enough multiplayer game modes.
GoW: Just wasn't fun, too complicated and kinda monotonous.
Killzone 2: Haven't played it, heard that KZ1 shat all over it, shall try both eventually.
Resistance: Seemed a bit uninteresting, and I've played it, so that was confirmed when the plot turned out to be another typical FPS involving aliens and humans.

I will admit, the Sangheili (no, Google did not join that part) are pretty badass.

Gears of War wins for single player/co-op, Halo for multiplayer. Gonna go with GoW because co-op is just the best thing to happen to gaming imo.

Resistance 1 was ace but I feel the second one was a massive let down. Killzone 2 is just terrible; mind-blowing graphics but that's about it...
