They're annoying because they are a) cheap and b) overpowered.

I have posted that video at least three times on this site, and I will keep doing it until people realise why people complain it so much.
Dayum. I knew you could be cheap in CoD.. But just.. Dayum. On that same note, it seems like something I'd do just to piss people off. God, I love the hate mail; if you can't spell "**** faced cock sucker" correctly, then how do you expect to offend me?
Haha yeah, the abuse people throw at you online is ridiculous. Someone told me that he hopes I get cancer the other day because I was running around with the Tac Knife. I wasn't even using Commando, or even Lightweight.

I got called a **** repeatedly in my first game of Counterstrike: Source, so that was fun.

Sure, you find people using noob tubes all the time, but none of them ever get chopper gunners off just because of grenades.

I dunno, maybe i've been lucky, but i did play a lot of MW2 and haven't seen a noob tuber survive to get off a 7+ killstreak yet.
Yeah, thankfully they were terrible and none of them got many kills, it just annoyed me.
Your first game of CS:S and you were good enough to get insulted by a veteran player? Nice.

Wow, console games are full of newbies. This has never happened to me in any of my PC matches. People die a lot faster there, even the really good (or really tube-spamming) ones.

Also on the PC: i've never seen a nuke go off except when it was on my team, by a guy who plays with me and is an FPS veteran. And i helped him get it.
I play on PC as well, and I've run into this kit about half a dozen times.

Been in a game where half the enemy team were using it. Incredibly frustrating.

I've gotten a 10 kill streak using my noob tuber class. I guess that makes me good with it.

Noobing is only acceptable when getting shotgun on weapons, and when used in small amounts when the entire match is you using the tube and likely one man army to restock your ammo...then your a cheat your using an otherwise unintended consequence to get many many kills, and knowingly doing it I end up reporting such people.

And giving unsportsman like feedback.

It's all good and well being a legitimate tactic, but it's used far too often and has a significant advantage. I'm talking about in Modern Warfare 2 here. The main issue is that you can't brainwash the online community into not using it, so every moron and small child out there will use it because it goes BOOM and takes one or more people with it.

It's just a shame that even if these guys are within 10 feet, they'll still use it, that pisses me off. It's almost like an improvised aimbot, gifting kills with ease. Learn to aim and use the assault rifle for what it's meant for.

Grenade launchers never make me rage in BC2, but in MW2....good gods. That video someone linked in this topic shows exactly why that game is broken and unbalanced.

Technically, yes, they're fine. They're a great way to deal with campers and people behind cover, especially in BC2 with it's destruction engine. But in MW2 it's just an easy kill generator thanks to the maps being pretty small. All the choke points are rather easy to detect, and all you have to do then is point in it's general direction and fire. Fat chance you'll get plenty of kills that way, and the video shows you do indeed get plenty of kills that way.

Yeah I'll just go back to BC2 and snipe some chopper pilots out of their cockpits. Most satisfying thing ever in a videogame and sure as héll a skillfull thing to do.
