Poll: genres of games

MMORPGS are without a doubt the kind of games i would be playing if i had to play games 24/7 for the rest of my life. But unfortunatly it's either playing 24/7 or not playing at all, and i've realized not playing is better for me.

So FPS shooters it is *sobes*

Sensible RPG's, platformers, and games meant for One-console multiplayer. Four people, one screen, the old school version of fun, that's the kick for me.

I play a lot of RPG's and FPS's these days. Recently bought Crimson Gem Saga and that has both satisfied my RPG itch and taken away quite a few hours of my life so far.

Shooters. I acually like action platforming games more, but I'm a bit short on them so I play shooters alot more.

I play a pretty wide mix, with the emphasis on shooters for co-op and RPGs for singleplayer.

Shooters because they are the only ones now adays that look interesting but aside from them Jak and Daxter since it is a genre in its own in my eyes with the frequency I play it at.

RTS FTW. Is there another genre where you can control thousands of soilders/knights etc and make them move to the enemy base? Nooo I didn't think so.

The only genres I really don't like are Sports and Driving. Although once in a while is OK.

Adventure (Point and click), RPGs, RTS, and several shooters. Sport games too, but nearly only with mates.

Strategy is most fun for me, as long as it's done right (the old Ensemble Studios, Starcraft, Myst, Riven, Chess, etc.).

Shooters/Action/Horror games can get very old very quickly, regardless of quality.
RPG can be very fun for a long time, but can often get boring at times.
Strategy never gets old for me.

Mostly, I play RPGs, action games, horror, turn based strategy games, and Phoenix Wright/Hotel Dusk kind of games.

I enjoy all, but I mostly play shooters.

I put down action because it is my favourite genre, but I dabble in any game that has the potential to be fun/good.

I don't limit myself at all and will play any genre providing its good. After all, i wouldn't want to miss anything
