Normally I just drink water, Coke Zero if I can afford it. As for harder stuff, mainly cider, port, mead or irish cream.

Whisky usually, sometimes rum (the proper dark sticks-to-your-ribs stuff, mmm).

If its to be an afternoon start, usually Guinness or a lovely pint of bitter.

Though if I'm honest, being a student, I'll drink pretty much anything. 'Specially if its cheap :)

Coffee. I've been drinking it since I was 3, when I first tried my mum's black coffee, not knowing what it was. I loved it.

I choose beer only because there isn't an Ale option, Newcastle Brown, London Pride, Hobgoblin... I could go on forever

If we're going non-alchoholic, then Cream Soda. Especially Jones cream soda.
Awesome stuff. Although I do get a stomach ache afterwards. Alchoholic, then just red wine. Merlot, preferably.

White russian for me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kznhOLs-MII&feature=related

I don't use cream when I make them though. The milk and the coffee taste takes away allot of the alcohol taste.

So far in my limited drinking experience I've really taken a liking to Vodka. Whiskey was okay from what I tasted but Cider is also really good.

I hear Beer is an acquired taste so I'll wait before I pass judgment on it.

I hate Cognac.
