Running across the rooftops, jumping streets and swinging from lamp posts. In my dreams.

I used to walk everywhere, then I started cycling and I'm now FAR too impatient to walk the same routes when I know that I'm at least three times faster on my bike. I love my bike too much, and I just know that someone's gonna pinch it some day...

Edit - I live in the countryside. And the trains/buses are pretty rubbish.

I thank all of you for posting so far. Very interesting to find that so many people prefer to walk/bike. I would have thought more of us would have been like me, with a '98 Minivan. I have no shame in my vehicle.

It really depends. Sometimes I carpool with friends (if we're going to the same destination), sometimes I ride with family (if we're going to the same destination)but usually I drive. My friend claims my car is "Of Mafia" because its a 2000 Black BMW 323 CI with tinted windows. Yes its used. Yes it has 130k miles but I love it. Yes its paid for. And did I mention I totally did not have to pay for it because a guy crashed into my other car? Yeah, so hey no complaints here.

For groceries, I just walk as there is a store right next to me, but for everything else (like work that is 11 miles up a hill away) I drive an 07 Honda Civic Si.

I want to get a job that's closer along with a bike though. Working the grave shift and lack of activity is making me flabby.

I drive a 92 Ford Probe (that's falling apart mind you) almost anywhere.

Before that I used to walk everywhre. Infact, I pick walking over driving sometimes, just because it clears up my head for thinking.
