I don't know abou you, but after more then two years of the same theme I'm getting pretty sick of it. I do my best to skip every Zero Punctuation review to 17 seconds in, so that you'll only hear the last two notes.

So after watching some of the older reviews, when I actually paid closer attention to it, it struck me how fitting the songs were. For example ''Seven Nation Army'' in the Call of Duty 4 review. It's not that I inherantly don't like the Ian Dorsch theme, I just think it's old and needs renewing.

I did really like the specific songs, he often got a chuckle out of me just for his often ironic choice for that review. That being said, they may have run into some copyright issues or something along that line that prevents them from doing that.

What he should really do is decide which intro advertisement plays before his episode starts, if he does it right he could get a few more chuckles out of me.

Sounds like you solved the problem.

Honestly though, theme music isn't really an integral part of the show - it's certainly not what I tune in for - and like mentioned above, using a different song each episode is not only tedious, but probably gets complicated legally.

That being said, changing the song eventually wouldn't hurt.

I think it might be good to have a different theme, I like the theme, unless I'm doing a marathon. It was good when he had a different suitable song for each review but that would take time and be legally icky.

While having specific songs for each video is a pain in the arse legally and physically, I think it wouldn't hurt to change the theme song soon. Heck, the AVGN always has some kind of remix of his theme every once in a while.

I say change the ZP theme song every year or so.

Click on 00:16 in the bar as soon as the video loads. Problem solved. It's what I do, I can't stand the theme

I wish Yahtzee would do an accapella version of his theme tune but unless that happens go ahead, let it be the way it is now.

It isn't bad but I preferred it when he did different songs. Still, I can't blame him, he probably would have run into copyright issues by now if he had kept that up.

I like the different songs in each video, they were witty (like the Two Little Boys song for Army of Two), and they weren't the same theme that would pound on your head every time you opened a ZP video.

No, because going to the trouble of finding some relevent tune eats into his production schedule as if. If you're sick of it, just keep skipping it.
