Ok, so i was staying at my girlfriends place the other day and i was watching her play modern warfare 2 (ps3) against her brother.

Funny thing is she played way better than me, so the question is:

Should i be scared or proud?

Your poll confuses and infuriates me.

You shouldnt be scared, Proud if your an avid gamer that you found someone who likes games like you.

Hmmm... I'm tempted to say you should be scared.
But you should be proud that you found someone who has the same interests as you, and likes you.
Heh, I got invited to a game yesterday, people thought I would be easy to beat because of my gender...
They had to kick me because I beat them all. So tempting to say people should be scared...

lol I love the poll, absolutely awesome options, intentional or not. Hahaha, laughing so much at it and dragon_of_red's first line.

Edit: On topic, you should be proud, who cares if your gf is better than you?

How the hell can anyone answer a poll like that with a yes/no question? :p

And you should be proud, sir, damn damn proud.

Gal gamers are a rare breed indeed (where I live at least).

Why should you be scared? It doesn't matter if a player's better than you are, regardless of their gender.

I'd be proud. Girls have a reputation for being bad at games and the few I've played against felt I should go easy on them because of their gender.

Online you're a piece of meat piloting a violent bit of coding. Nothing more.

No. You should be yourself; Scared and Proud are their own people.
Also, I wish I had a girlfriend better at games than I am. Uh...
That is, I wish I had a girlfriend. Ever. Or a boyfriend. Really, I don't care.

What your asking: "My Girlfriend is doing well at CoD. Should i be scared?!"
Im sorry, its just a strange question. You should be glad she plays it at all - Skill shouldnt be taken into account unless its a lack of it.

You should just say scared. It is always tempting to further confuse those that are already confused about something the really have no buisness being confused over. However this seems more like bragging, in which case it would be great to undermine that with a series of unexpected answers.

I get this tang of sexism in the air and the idea that "girlz can't be gamzers Lolololol!" but I'm going to ignore it.

You shouldn't be proud unless you in some way took an active role in making her a good player (Did you participate in any 80s montages lately?) since unless you actually did something then you are an ass for taking credit for it. Unless your scared that you'll be whopped by a superior player (Which seem like an odd thought because there will always be people better then you so why be scarred?) then there is no reason to be scared either. I think you might want to be impressed or surprised more then anything else but now I'm giving you advise on emotions and of course they are all illogical.

be proud.
be happy you have a girlfriend with similar interests.. hell, you should be proud you have a girlfriend at all.. not all guys can say that.
also learn to make a proper poll.. your question does not require a "yes or no" response.

I'd completely stay away from her.

From my experience, 70% of the gamer girls are really... [Insert hateful message of past here]

But if she's one of the rare 30% that you can actually stand, than embrace the fact that you've found someone willing to play the game with you.
Maybe she can teach you a few tricks. Rawr...

You must impregnate her, and breed a race of super-gamers with extra thumbs that need only Mountain Dew to survive. They will build robots, and pilot them with 360 controllers in the great Gamer War, enslaving humanity but eventually being undone by a species-wide plague of carpal tunnel syndrome.
