I would love the find a girl who is better than me at my favorite games (l4d2, Tf2, CSS). I love a freaking challenge. Thanks now I have an adrenaline rush from thinking about it.

You learn far more from a better opponent than you do a worse one.
Excellent underrated and somewhat forgotten truth. I have trouble explaining this to my newb-farming friends who don't get why killing them isn't as rewarding as finding challenges.

Mate, only be scared if she insists on playing against you. Otherwise, I'd say take pride. I know I do whenever my girlfriend does well (either in game or in real life).

Mm, such thinking got you a probation. Don't go around saying that you refuse to do such a thing when you won't sit down and do it. It makes you sound like a coward. And the only reason why there is a "PC Vs Console war" is because overly opinionated people like you say there is. It's childish and un-needed. I play L4D, Halo, and have played CoD on a console and prefer it to a PC. I usually play my PC because I don't have xbox live (don't want to connect my xbox to the net. I see no point) And I DO get better aim from my controller than I do from my mouse.Get over it, move on.
As far as I know what got me a probation was a mostly caps post, opinions are not illegal on the Escapist I hope.

I dont understand what you mean about me refusing to do anything, or me being a coward, the only thing I refuse to do is believe that controllers are equal. I have played fpses with gamepads before, and my experience with that is what makes me refuse to do it anymore.

If you prefer controllers over a mouse thats fine, but calling me a coward and childish because I have strong opinions on a topic is not exactly mature either.

How the hell can anyone answer a poll like that with a yes/no question? :p

And you should be proud, sir, damn damn proud.

Gal gamers are a rare breed indeed (where I live at least).
Really? Has someone been killing them all in their sleep? :p lol. Swimming in them where I live.

I say be proud. Not cos she's a girl, but because at least you got someone to play MW2 with! Hey maybe she'll even improve your skills.

Ok, so i was staying at my girlfriends place the other day and i was watching her play modern warfare 2 (ps3) against her brother.

Funny thing is she played way better than me, so the question is:

Should i be scared or proud?
Proud...

You Lucky Bastard...

Not much of a culture that encourages gals playing games down here. Sadly. We do the best we can to try and break the trend, but alas, we cannot stem the tide. :p

I was going to reply, then I realized this is a pretty awesome troll.
dude, i'm not trying to troll this is a serious question and at the moment i am very proud but a little scared.
Can I ask why you are scared?
because if i say or do anything mean she'll own me D:
Hmm. Well, that might indeed be scary. But you just have to learn from her and become her love rival!
Why is the idea of a gal beating you at anything scary in the least? That's insecurity speaking.

If she's great at something, then be proud, because after all, someone as good as her at something picked you as a partner.

If that isn't something to be proud of, I wonder what is.
