I have no clue who Jason Statham or Michael Cera are. I guess an athletic, military-type fitness level, rather than a bodybuilder. I like bald guys though, lol. As long as they aren't too fat.
It's shamelessly stolen from the wonderful Natalie Dee.[footnote]http://www.nataliedee.com/092111/its-important-to-give-your-daughter-the-talk.jpg[/footnote] I just thought it was odd that the OP thought boob size was most analogous to body type...I thought dick size would be more analogous.latenightapplepie said:Probably Cera. I don't enjoy his face, but generally his body is what I like. That, or average guy. Meh. I'm not so picky.Dags90 said:Remember though, looks may fade, but a big dick is forever. Like diamonds.
In some ways a guy changing their overall body type can be just as impossible as changing breast size for women. It would be very hard for someone with an overall high body metabolism which keeps them very thin from turning into someone ripped/podgy. Same as someone with a slow metabolism turning into the skinny geek type would be very hard.manic_depressive13 said:OT: This is just a question of fitness, and if a guy really wanted to he could go to the gym and work out. Your argument about weight also applies to women. Some women have difficulty with their weight, but it can be overcome. It's sort of a silly comparison because women have an identical issue, to which no better comparison can be made.Sphinx86 said:In some ways a guy changing their overall body type can be just as impossible as changing breast size for women. Also someone who's only about 160cm is never going to be Arnie.
Admittedly Someone who's already in the middle could go both ways.
The problem with the penis size argument is (as far as I'm aware) there is nothing a man can do to change the size of his penis. All the surgeries do is make it bigger when soft and does nothing to change the in action size which is when it's really important.
Women's breast size (can) change with their weight and hormones. I had an ex-gf who went from an A as we graduated High School (approx 17yo in Aus) to a B/C 18 months later when we broke up, just because she had a growth spurt. My current gf has gone up a few cup sizes as she's put on some weight too. Thats the limit of my first-hand knowledge though and I'm not saying thats the same for everyone
Boobs are also more visible than a dick, and in a lot of ways are tied to her body style.Dags90 said:I just thought it was odd that the OP thought boob size was most analogous to body type...I thought dick size would be more analogous.
Yeah I was trying to come up with celebrities that I thought people would recognize that demonstrated the body types I was going for...then got lazy by the forth.Princess Rose said:... these are my choices?Sphinx86 said:I've written this post asking for a female point of view, mostly because that's the way I'm inclined (and partially because it's easier to write these questions across a gender divide) but if any guys want to comment/poll feel free.
Um... of those... Michael Cera, I guess. He's kinda cute.
I wouldn't really hold up Statham as an icon of the male body. Too... bald.
Also, where's the option for Isaiah Mustafa? You want an icon of male hotness? Him. He's my choice.
Wouldn't a similar question be more about male genitalia since it's what we're graded more on and is more personal than "body type".Sphinx86 said:In another thread talking about what breasts men prefer (see: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.319146-Poll-Okay-fellow-male-escapists-BOOBIES) someone brought up that guys wouldn't like it if women asked a similar question.
Well I actually would like to know. I know that most of my female friends appreciate a ripped guy, but is that what you really want in your guys? Most guys seem to believe that girls only like the 'perfect' body and can cause the same issues as girls have, we (as a gender) just aren't as open about it.
So if the guy was right in every other aspect, what body would you prefer him to have?

I would honestly chock up your girlfriends' experiences to being young and still developing. I'm pretty sure your dick has gotten bigger since you were 12, but that doesn't mean that you'll have a growth spurt at 25. Outside of pregnancy or substantial weight gain, women's breast don't usually change size. And we're talking pretty substantial. My mom's weight has fluctuated between 140 to 190 lbs. and her cup size hasn't really changed.
I'm intrigued by when you've been graded on you genitalia? Admittedly I'm average male size, but usually I find they're more interested in what I'm doing than how big I am.Delsana said:Wouldn't a similar question be more about male genitalia since it's what we're graded more on and is more personal than "body type".Sphinx86 said:In another thread talking about what breasts men prefer (see: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.319146-Poll-Okay-fellow-male-escapists-BOOBIES) someone brought up that guys wouldn't like it if women asked a similar question.

It's an open secret that guys judge themselves on it, but has a women ever? Anyone out there that can elaborate?
Also look a few post above this for a few reason why I picked body types.
Just wanna add that you gotta start off without too much body fat otherwise controlled diet and running is required. *slides on sweatpants* Speaking of running I think I'll take a jog.IcyEvils said:Girls can help what kind of breasts they have..manic_depressive13 said:He looks like he just sniffed his own fart.ICantBelieveItGoesBoom said:I'm into guys that aren't like totally stacker but have like slight abs sort of like this picture.![]()
So basically, a little bit of tone but nothing that drastically changes their overall "shape".
OT: This is just a question of fitness, and if a guy really wanted to he could go to the gym and work out. And the emboldened comment made me laugh my ass off, it's so true!
Any guys who want the golden "slight abs but not enough to look like he's worked out", do what I did, which was for 4 months do 100 situps and 50 press ups every evening (obviously work your way up to it). Now I have a bit of definition, and it literally took no effort or cost![]()
It's never going to be more fitting than a direct body-type analogy. For this reason, it won't ever be an effective analogy for me.Sphinx86 said:If you read a slightly later post than the one you quoted (which admittedly only went up very recently ) I do cover another reason why the body-type/breast size analogy is more fitting.
