Oh man...

Christmas with a brand new gaming PC has left me a little overloaded with good games to play, and indecisive old me needs some help sorting through the lot. I know it's pretty much subjective, but I just want to hear some opinions to help me figure things out. (I hate formal reviews.)

The full roster is as follows:

Bastion
Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox)
Arkham City
Battlefield 3 (Xbox)
Medal of Honor
LA Noire
Sonic Generations
Gears of War 3 (Xbox)

There are also a few more that I didn't put in the poll because they are older or don't seem fun, but if you like one of them better, please let me know why:

Sim City 4
Team Fortress 2
Arkham Asylum
Left 4 Dead 2

I'm just wondering about the single player aspect for most games. For the poll, please vote on general game quality, but I don't want every comment to be about how "unbalanced" the multiplayer is in a game or whatever because I won't be playing much multiplayer anyway.

I started MW3 barely and it was kinda samey as with BF3. I also started Sonic and that was pretty fun for a while, but I got Skyrim right after (which is not an option here because I've literally done every quest already). I'm also about half way done with GoW3, but I've been super busy (again, Skyrim).

So anybody have any thoughts about the games listed here? Keep in mind I also just started playing EVE Online, which is an AMAZING game, but also admittedly a huge waste of time lol.

Why don't you play the short ones first? That way you won't have laods to get through and you'll feel slightly less overloaded.
(oh the burden of having too many games too play)

I'd go for Sonic and Bastion first, as both would be easy to bump through in the shortest time.

Bastion is brilliant, period. Sonic Generations is pretty good but has some bullsh** level design and it's better if you've played a lot of Sonic games, which I don't know if you have. Those are the only two I've actually played.

If you're a multiplayer kind of person, though, Battlefield 3 is simply amazing - I'm sure that even with the slight nerfing of the X360 version, you'll still have a blast.

I'll third Bastion. It's really great, the narration is brilliant, the game is fun, and it looks pretty too.

If you're looking for a more long-term multiplayer, go with Gears of War 3. But that's my personal bias speaking, I love the new Horde and Beast modes to death.

I like Arkham Asylum the most of all the games listed, even more than Arkham City. I'd definitely give AA a shot, and then I'd go LA Noire

Bastion. Beutiful visuals, great soundtrack and as a previous poster mentioned awesome narration. It is not a long game but damn was it fun.

Team Fortress 2. Just do it. It's free, you have no excuse. When you fall in love, you'll thank me.

I'd suggest Skyrim but that's not an option. So, I'll go with Bastion.

EDIT: Wow, it's mildly surprising that it's the favored recommendation here.

Skyri.... Oh sugar it isn't there...
In that case I have no clue, the only one i've played is MW3, which I definitely would not recommend.

Yeah, like I said, I already did literally everything in Skyrim. I'm waiting for the Creation Kit so I can make some sweet mods.
